Maybe it helps with finding that tool in Portugal: The German word for it is "Strauchroder" and it's available at most garden centers in Germany. One manufacturer is Terrateck, maybe those are available in Portugal too. Also, importing one from Germany may be easier than from Canada.
Look at Bella being a proper terrier! Such a cutie! Smashing work, as always, you two! Love that you care so much about your land and the husbandry of it all!
Theo is truly amazing! But so are you Bee - A year ago, you couldn't have done what you did in this video - that one track / road was super steep, plus all you do to care for the animals. Awesome. It's so fun to see you explore and learn about your land; to become stewards, protecting the land for the future.
Bee and Theo, y'all are such good stewards of your land. Bella is fitting in beautifully with your family. Many blessings to you this Christmas season.
Little Bella is fitting in so well! Love seeing her little tail wagging on her explorations. That is a lot of hard work cutting down all that broom and mimosa, just keep safe you two.
Bea, there are backpacks that are made with built-in foldout legs that are attached to a seat on top of the pack. They do work and you don't have to lug around a stool, because you'll have one already on your back plus, you can put stuff you may need for your walk in the pack itself.
Well done. Your task ahead is a mammoth one and as much as the mimosa and broom is a pain there is also a great amount of satisfaction trying to eliminate them. That tool Theo is amazing. Definitely an opening there in Portugal. I can’t believe how Bella has blossomed in such a short time. It will be lovely when you can walk her and the goats together. I’m sure with your patience and experience Bea you will be successful. Take care both, keep safe. 💕 Dorset, UK
I don’t know if this is possible, but I feel like I don’t know what the land is like, or the scale, where the ponds are etc. Would it be possible to get a drone shot of the land and then put a pin each time on where you are when you’re working in the forest etc.? Love you guys and have enjoyed watching you for so many years. Xx
Really interesting seeing all the road tracks up into the mountains! Bea you are crafty get some outdoor water resistant fabric make a backpack cushion or one with sling strap that you can wear and have to sit on. Of course as time goes on you can also place log stumps in places you enjoy stopping to sit. The cushions do come in handy though.❤❤
🇨🇦 Hi Bea and Theo. I found a Canadian product called The Extractigator. Created by a gentleman with a mechanical engineering background. They have various sizes of weed/tree pullers, plus videos to show them in action. Their larger one can fold for ease of shipping. Perhaps worth looking into. Hope this helps. Cindy Crozier Ottawa, Ontario
Hi, Bee and Theo. It’s had for me to imagine the immensity of Miracle Mountain. It will be good to have that road cleared for easier access in case of fire. It’s good to see that Bella has bonded with you, Bee. See you two next week❤️❤️❤️
Theo your adventure reminds me when I was a young man in my late teens early twenties. I worked on the development of a botanical park here in Canada . We built roads and trails . We harvested the trees we could use and burned the slash in winter. We built boardwalks along the boggy sections of trails. We had a big old draft horse to do the pulling of stumps and hauling logs out, to be milled into useable lumber. It was one of the most satisfying jobs I ever had. I loved being in the woods in Fall and Winter working , the smell of the forest the sounds and the tons of fresh air was intoxicating. We chipped tons of bushes and branches to use to lay down on the trails for walking. And in the Fall we burned all of the slash in the wet part of the year. I know how you feel Theo , I know why you love your property. It is a magical job. No wonder you call it Miracle Mountain.
Wondering if you brought the broom destructor to a local metal shop and had them make one for you or even make one yourself but you said previously you didn't like to weld but am sure you could get someone to make one or even a better one. Just my thoughts. An even longer handle would make it give you more leverage as well.
How you are husbanding your land is truly inspirational and what the Portuguese countryside so desperately needs. I adore my country and get huge pleasure from seeing your dedication. Obrigada! Feliz Natal!
Theo Hi I'm Dave I'm from Canada and I want to come visit you and Bea. ,when I come to Portugal this coming winter for a trip. I have a similar tool for lifting logs off the ground, so you can cut the logs up for fire wood. So you don't damage the saw. If you would like to tell me the name of that tool and where you get it . I would be happy to bring it with my luggage this coming winter. Can't be more to ship, than a set of golf clubs or skis and more useful. Let me know!
Hi B and T, I was thinking that if you had a bigger herd of goat, they woul help you clear all the brambles and all kinds of other flora. They love that stuff.😊
You might want to build Bella a little leg wheel chair for those really long walks. Its a platform with wheels that straps to her back. It may lessen any arthritis being created in her good back leg ,back and hip. Just for really long treks, not your day to day mini walks. Happy holidays to you and your families.❤🎄
I bet the previous owners would've been so happy to see the love and care you are pouring into this stunning property! 💚 Also I want to remind you to bring a first aid kit when you're working so far up the mountain. We care about you 🩹
What is the root puller called? We live in the US and really need something similar to this to pull brush on our land. I love how ideas are shared by everyone here.
I can remember at your first property pulling out broom with your car and you both thought it would be hard and it just flew out made me laugh, that looks like an amazing tool. You could use the more springy mimosa branches for fencing too weaving them would work well 😁 Thank you for sharing 😁
From the US Southeast, we have mimosa also. I ruthlessly pick every sprouted one I see and feel sorry for myself at the number I have to hand pull every year. Your property has provided some perspective; I am content with my hundreds vs your hundreds of thousands! The large tall ones we keep give a lovely fluffy pink bloom late spring/early summer. Good stewards of the land you are.
The tool you are using is called a tree popper here in the UK. You can get various sizes. They are quite expensive and are really heavy (obviously the big ones are heaviest). Wouldn't want to bring in my luggage 😂, but you must be able to ship from the UK
Well done. You will need to make sure those mimosa aren't left in contact with earth, because they can regrow roots and it would get very difficult to remove them from where you stacked them. When we clean up areas from mimosa we make sure we leave the cuts on the asphalt, not on earth.
Yes Mimosas trees are trash / weed trees. They are also in North and South Carolina , US. People just think they look and smell good. They are so invasive.
i remember seeing you on that BBC Docu-Drama about winning that Canadian ? homestead with the old couple who wanted to 'step-back'. i bet whoever won that - would have had to face and be judged by a committee to even prune a tree...
If I was thirty years younger I would be in my element in that forest just cutting back or walking.can't wait to see more of this and when it's finished.Bless Bella she is living her best life now you have given her a amazing place to live.🐱🐱🐱🦮
You need some kids, either from you two or by adoption. I'm sure you would have a great time teaching them how to be responsible people working hard on your property. You never know, one of them might want to grow up taking over your property doing what you're doing.

I LOVE HOW BELLA AND THE OTHER ANIMALS FOLLOW YOU AROUND!!! So much trust they have in you.😊😊😊💕💕💕🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Look at Bella being a proper terrier! Such a cutie! Smashing work, as always, you two! Love that you care so much about your land and the husbandry of it all!
The Portuguese government should designate you Forest Custodians and pay you! Your enthusiasm and hard work is amazing! Keep going!
Bella seems more confident ❤Such a blessing to see Theo and you filled with joy!
I just realised HOW big your property is! So much work but so beautiful!!!

Lots of work! Love to have some of your fresh fruits. I know you love this place. I do too.🤗🤗🤗👍

Fantastic to see Bella starting her best life.
Get a bunch or coloured ribbons and name the trails by the colours you mark the trails with. 😊

I love the start with you two holding hands💕❤🥰💕🥰❤🥰💕
By the way “mimosa” in Spanish means “Cuddly” so when you described how the leafs caress you tells you why it is called mimosa.
Theo and you both work very hard on maintaining your land, it's great to see so thanks for sharing.
Your land is so beautiful.❤ keep on having fun around it. I know how hard you been working on it. God bless you.😊
A Canadian here. We have a postal strike right now. If it’s cheaper for you I could arrange with you to purchase it and send it out to you.

Só happy for all that is hapening in your farm ...Happy Holidays 🎄
I love watching Bella so
Happy in her element!

Absolutely no need for a gym membership given your backyard 😅. What an amazing workout, holy cow 🐄. Hats off to all the work you’re doing.
I'm from Michigan. My son and his wife just vacationed in Portugal last week.
Mimosa blooms are beautiful...
Wondering if you brought the broom destructor to a local metal shop and had them make one for you or even make one yourself but you said previously you didn't like to weld but am sure you could get someone to make one or even a better one. Looking fwd to see you drive or ride to the top, make a fantastic trials run .
Omg that was amazing can’t wait to see the view many blessings from North Texas ❤
Maybe you could become the official importer for Europe, of that broom device.
How you are husbanding your land is truly inspirational and what the Portuguese countryside so desperately needs. I adore my country and get huge pleasure from seeing your dedication. Obrigada! Feliz Natal!
Next project is building benches from all the wood harvested. All along the trails. Just imagine your behind on that instead of the cold ground. 😊😊
Theo, look up
"Tree Popper." I'm from the States and it may be similar.

The Canadian tool is AMAZING!
Great invention! 🇨🇦🍁
Great video
What a beautiful piece of land! I would make some walking trails through there rather than tracks for ATV’s
The way you care for Bee's welfare as you walk among all these branches, it feels as if I'm walking behind you. 😊
Hi B and T, I was thinking that if you had a bigger herd of goat, they woul help you clear all the brambles and all kinds of other flora. They love that stuff.😊
Be safe both of you, God's continued blessings and protection, always appreciate your adventures.
Business broom opportunity.👍
Bea and Theo love and enjoy your videos. May the lord bless and protect Bea and Theo and working on Miracle Mountain.
I just saw you on Netflix on the Alaska show

Everytime you say the word ucoliptus, I picture a Kuwala hanging out on branches
Nice to walk with you both. I love your land .❤️🇨🇦
I bet the previous owners would've been so happy to see the love and care you are pouring into this stunning property! 💚
Also I want to remind you to bring a first aid kit when you're working so far up the mountain. We care about you 🩹
When you started to pull the broom looking behind you in the distance is that a castle??
What a landscape on Miracle Mt! Good to see you enjoying the project.
What is the root puller called? We live in the US and really need something similar to this to pull brush on our land. I love how ideas are shared by everyone here.
Watching this while I have taken a homemade crumble out the oven and put in the mince pies. Now I can watch the rest while they cok 😊
Hay Theo, I remember that a Madic with the broad blade on one side can do a similar job. Chris from Sydney, Australia
I can remember at your first property pulling out broom with your car and you both thought it would be hard and it just flew out made me laugh, that looks like an amazing tool.
You could use the more springy mimosa branches for fencing too weaving them would work well 😁
Thank you for sharing 😁
A good smddy could make one of those broom pullers.
What is that tool called?
You can see how much you love it in the forrest
That Canadian tool is perfect for the Mimosas because they spread through their roots. Cut it down and more come back-fast.
It looks like Theo has been to the barber and had a clean-up!
I'm sure you can make one of those broom puller tools. Even improved!
Mimosas:
When you cut it down the root sends out new growth with multiple new shoots. IT MUST BE TAKEN OUT BY THE ROOTS…the only way.😊
You can use a cutting disc on the brush cutter, it'll clear out that mimosa at crazy speeds!
The tool you are using is called a tree popper here in the UK. You can get various sizes. They are quite expensive and are really heavy (obviously the big ones are heaviest). Wouldn't want to bring in my luggage 😂, but you must be able to ship from the UK
What’s going on with a little cabin in the woods?
Soft mimosa branches=great wreaths or wreath frames or swags!
Well done. You will need to make sure those mimosa aren't left in contact with earth, because they can regrow roots and it would get very difficult to remove them from where you stacked them. When we clean up areas from mimosa we make sure we leave the cuts on the asphalt, not on earth.
Could u make one out of a big clamp and solder a pole on it
Yes Mimosas trees are trash / weed trees. They are also in North and South Carolina , US. People just think they look and smell good. They are so invasive.
What you need is a forestry grinder. Search on you tube, brilliant bit of kit.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
That was so interesting.
Some vloggers have conferences and work projects to help you get the job done and give people a great experience. Think about it
Once the trails are cleared how often do you need to go over them? There seem to be so many trails that aloan could be a full time job.
Mimosa trees will keep growing until the roots are dug up & destroyed. I've tried for years to get rid of them.
❤❤
i remember seeing you on that BBC Docu-Drama about winning that Canadian ? homestead with the old couple who wanted to 'step-back'. i bet whoever won that - would have had to face and be judged by a committee to even prune a tree...
That looks similar to a T-post remover.
If I was thirty years younger I would be in my element in that forest just cutting back or walking.can't wait to see more of this and when it's finished.Bless Bella she is living her best life now you have given her a amazing place to live.🐱🐱🐱🦮
How do you know when your property ends?
💗💗💗
You need a map!
Is this 57 acres or hectares? Such a magical property!
✨🙏✨
Can you or have you been able to go to the very top of the mountain?
What's this tool called?
❤❤❤💚❤️❤️❤️
Scat...coyotes?
Theres a reason for everything, you were meant be there on miacle mountain.
Do you know the history of Miracle Mountain?
Maybe you could fly a drone up you farthestvtrail
Wow..how many hectares do you have? You walk all day..
23 hectares
You need some kids, either from you two or by adoption. I'm sure you would have a great time teaching them how to be responsible people working hard on your property. You never know, one of them might want to grow up taking over your property doing what you're doing.
Really interesting this big mirical mountain and your life up there pure nature lovely discovery thank you to share this with us 🥰💛💚💙🤍👍👍👍👍👍👍
