I think we should do these things in kernel.php which is inside the middleware folder only the way you are saying is not writeFor standard Laravel applications: Manage global middleware in app/Http/Kernel.php. Define middleware logic in app/Http/Middleware. Apply middleware in routes or controllers using Laravel’s built-in methods.
Sir, in my project "bootstrap/app.php" don't have any function like "->withMiddleware" or other . in my app.php its only contain "$app->singleton" fucntion ☹ . what should i do? i installed latest laravel version
