You always see a bunch of reviewers babying their limited edition boots, but never wore them on the pitch for testing. I love to see you wearing limited boots for real tests. After all, football boots are going to deteriorate after a long time and the glue will no longer hold the boots together, you can't baby them forever!

Saw this video just after I bought a pair, great to hear such a positive review! I bought the AG stud pattern because I only play on AG (and they were the only ones that were available in my size), hopefully not too different. Love these type of videos and the production value is really good!

Plus you lose your warranty, as manufactures don't recommend it. Good review on the boots though, very helpful.

Hi mate! I'm sorry to hear about your injury - onwards and upwards! The Asics DS Light X Fly 4 is an awesome option and provides some arch support through the midfoot area. Really comfortable for people coming back from foot injuries

Thin toebox area was my biggest issue from when I was wearing Tiempos too.

I had the same issue with the toe box until I threw in a shoe stretcher. Now it fits perfect and I wouldn't wear anything else

@@bradwilson9136is the stuff pattern a drastic difference form the mercurial stud pattern. (Like can you, change direction, accelerate, pivot, etc similarly to the mercs.

These cleats are true to size. They were snug in the beginning and finally stretched at the toe box area after 3 games. The touch is special. I don't like insoles. And I recommend to use water is r repelent spray. Great cleats but I'd rather buy regular tempo

Thanks mate! There's not, but they hold up well! I wore them in several team sessions and individual sessions over the course of a few months and had nothing but good experiences! They won't be better than the Tiempo 9 for sure

I am surprised they’ve held up this long considering you’ve played them on turf pitches but I don’t expect them to last too long due to that soleplate being for natural grass mainly and the soleplate may also be too aggressive for natural grass which may lead to injuries (I hope you don’t get any). Not trying to be negative it’s just I know Nike do an AG variant for this boot

I have tiempo montebelluna. They require huge amount of time to care it, but if you buy this boot you will not regret it
I did absolutely none 😂 The whole point was to wear the boots like any other pair and not treat them differently at all. I think that's the best way to really test how good they are - especially because the majority of people buying these will either not wear them or they'll use them just like a regular boot without "care" 🤝
I did put leather cream on them after a month or so of use. It helps, but to what extent, don't know.
They do take forever to dry though, like two-three days

I did, yes. Put the normal Tiempo 9 Elite insole in there. In my initial review I talk about how slippery the stock one is, and it caused some fairly significant issues with slippage and lower performance

Hey. I have a lot of issues with all of my football boots because of my toes, specifically my big toe. My big toe is kinda pointing upwards instead of going straight, not sure if that's a good explanation. Because of that all of my football boots always rip where my big toe sits because it's always rubbing against the upper and most of the uppers nowadays are really thin so it doesn't help much. So with that information, would you recommend me these football boots or the regular tiempos because as you say these are way thinner on the upper than the regular ones and I don't want another pair of boots to rip again, especially limited edition boots haha
I'd go with the regular Tiempos! They're a bit thicker and more durable long term

I believe it's a personal choice to play with boots both in training and out of training. I trained in these exclusively and really enjoyed them! I don't see any reason why you wouldn't want to train in them 🔥

@@t3floz I think they’re saying save them for the match, not because of durability but because of the aesthetic. In their minds they’re probably thinking that it’s not worth scuffing up the beautiful upper and sole plate in training, save the beauty for a big game.

Unless you commit to cleaning them and treating the leather every day after training, I don't think there's much you can do mate! Boots only last a bit for me no matter the quality 😅

I just got them in today and they run long I had to order a half a size down and possibly a full size down length wise if that doesnt work the only problem is that nike has in cm the 6 and the 5.5 are both 24 cm i dont get it might have to go a size and a half down but then that puts me in a 23.5 when i measure 24.1 in cm what do you recommend i already have a 6 on the way from a 6.5 i normally wear that being 24.5 cm in nike in a six and a half pls advise you that have worn them in

Do the boots get more wet and heavy compared to a normal boot because I’ve seen pictures where they look like they are wet whenever someone is playing and was wondering if they get heavier
A bit for sure because the leather is untreated! Nothing to worry about though 🤝

I'd say that my only issue with the Tiempo is stud pressure on harder surfaces. There's a stud right under the bone in the ball of my foot that kills me after 30min of constant impact. And that's on top of what you said about the pointy forefoot. Next summer season I'll lower the height of it with a dremel and see if that helps.
I do not have that issue the HG version they sell in Japan, that one feels great and it doesn't have a pointy forefoot because apparently asians have wider feet.

The AG version is available! I’ve seen it on Unisport and a few other places
@@Gmusic734 HG stands for Hard Ground. Studs are shorter and soleplate is a bit stiffer so you don't feel the studs coming up your foot so much as you run.

Of course you can! If you watch the original unboxing/try on video of these, I noted how slippery the insole was - tried to play in it a few times and it was WAY too slippery for high level play 😂

I sincerely doubt it. I am a huge proponent of boots staying right at the end of my foot, and I find boots to be sloppy if they’re too long

I haven't washed these boots at all mate, I'd say just water and a sponge
Because I’ve also semi ruined them as I always put my boots in warm water to break them in easier as my feet are super wide. So a fair bit of the boot went a greyish colour and hasn’t returned back to normal unfortunately
