I’d love to see a big cam go in there, those old 5.0s sound great with a good cam, and maybe fix the paint on the hatch, make a good street car out of it. See what it will run in the 1/4 etc. either way love the videos can’t wait to see more content
That's kind of the route I'm leaning.. pull the motor and reseal it and throw in a big cam. Then maybe a turbo this winter? We were also talking tonight about repainting the hatch, and maybe even the front bumper since my girlfriend paints for a living.. otherwise paint is in pretty good shape. Hopefully it will see a couple different style tracks this next though! I'm hoping to make a lot of good content for you guys!

That car would look good with some fresh paint, since your gf is good at painting I’d definitely make that a little project and a turbo would be awesome as well, nothing crazy maybe a few lbs of boost, new clutch etc. I watch all the videos man I look forward to the next ones!
@jameswindsor6903 I'd like to eventually paint the whole car haha but baby steps at first 😂 and yes that's exactly what I'm thinking too! I appreciate the support! I'm trying to make better content and upload more consistently now, but sometimes it's hard with trucking because I work so much lol I'm trying to get away from the semi videos and focus more on car/truck/atv style videos instead lol
nice ride man, i got an 89 gt. sve pack, cam ect. currently getting an on3 twin turbo kit put on... stock internals so we will see how long that last lol i like boost so thats what i vote for.
Right on! Hopefully she lasts a while lol I'm picking up a junk yard 351w next weekend.. thinking of swapping that into the car and then turboing that with the on3 kit lol
Fuck yeah! I love fox body's. Never had one but used to hunt them down in my 99' catfish camaro every weekend back in the day before they went extinct. My lil brother was the ford mustang guy. Don't take much to make that lil 302 pull hard. Think stock injectors were yellow 19lbs. Good for 320hp max. All cams like boost. boost is a multiplier so if the cam makes good power and sounds good before added boost it will do the same after boost. Personally I like anything around .500 -.600 lift 230-234 duration and a 110 - 114 lsa piston to valve clearance should be ok??? Anything bigger lose drivability if its a stick
Definitely pulls hard! I can't wait to go through it and throw a bigger cam in it and what not. The injectors are either orange or the yellow is really aged at this point lol
@@Itsjustacoyotee If I remember correctly in 91' they weren't anything like a Mexican 302 or a Boss but think they had a factory roller cam and a lightened iron block, it's only like 20lbs heavier then a aluminum LS1. My lil bro is a small block ford guy that been hoarding ford stuff over 20 yrs. He's had his 65' fastback since he was 13 My dad won it in a poker game Looked like Joe Dirt owned it but it was fast. Primer'd out with a 289 4 speed had duel quad tunnel ram, a donkey dick cam and straight headers with nos lol. My GTO kinda looked like a shitbox too. We lived in a nice neighborhood in Vegas and are neighbors just loved us lol
