Thanx Adam =), did a lot of research on some yachts, and Azimuts seem to be the best so far. The 86s is my favorite for sure.

I tried HID on my Azimut and it was great. But the intensity was too glaring, and it didn't have that "ambiance".
Now, my Azimut 86 is running on 4 units of LEDs (not HIDs). Very low-wattage....35Ws per unit. It gives a soft aquamarine light, and looks great. It's the new generation of High Brightness (HB) LEDs.
Currently, my Azimuth is in Langkawi Marina (Malaysia) for 3weeks, and I'm toying around with Phillips Ultinon 10W LEDs in my salon area.

@adbraz2 - depends of the exact application. LEDs will never need replacing and draw a lot less current, but HID lamps are brighter.

also LEDs run cool so can be left on without any time restrictions, HID lamps are not designed to be use for extended periods of time and they get VERY hot!

If I could finally afford a boat like this in a place like this.. I wonder who would come to visit? Most everyone I know is a long way from the ocean and they work fulltime. Could they get the time off work, and could they afford the travel? Would I have to pay for their plane tickets? Makes you wonder, that means this is a GREAT VIDEO!
I want a 47 Apache with some of these lights... oh yeah.
@nicandlucian Aresson drives and surface propellers are meant to work this way. It is the most performant marine solution imho.

My concern is that one might think you could have damage your yacht.
Some yachts come with a anti-fungus coating on the paint which you might have unknowingly removed by the abrasion of the sand.

Man, at first i was like - swimming around that boat at night would be so amazing, the clarity of the water is off the hook. Except then i saw the 30 sharks and i was all like helll no. They are nurse sharks... but still =p

@nicandlucian Surface ships cavitate 100% of the time, its just a fact of life. Submarines don't due to the high pressure of being farther under water. Its just like traction on the road, when you punch if the tires spin.....when you punch it props cavitate, there is no solution to that.
Also notice that the boat is moored and not moving, which is the naval equivalent of a burnout :)

I love the effects of you starting the motor while video taping underwater. What I notice is that the propeller spun in reverse which caused cavitation. Cool. I also notice that you were petty close to the propeller, Was there any danger of you being sucking in by the propellers.

@ImportMafia Interesting thought, if you work hard to get rich, howcome you have time to enjoy, say, to enjoy a trip around thd world in your own luxury yacht? How many hard workers you know achieve this? Are they hard workers than push cart sales people? or a construction worker? Also how many you know who bought the minig company by working for it and managed to enjoy the riches came with it?

these props needs to replace they are making to much bubbles so they are not producing maximum efficient thrust look up military design props, you will see the props they use don't make bubbles creating maximum thrust in water, you props are losing thrust not supply you boats true power potential
@Fussinated Hard work is hard work, not matter what it is.. you're presenting hard labor occupations. I'm talking about people that are determined to be successful, and put in a lot hard work to get where they are. Use some common sense.. You're not going to be a millionaire working hard in a mine, unless you bust your ass to own a mine.
