That is immersing with the local, its vlogging that you do but the most important thing is your reaction and conversation with the local is the most important thing as much as you are promoting the real life, the cultural adventure.Thank you and more power and God Bless.
when i went to Batad for the 1st time in the year 2000, you had to hike for 3 hours. 1 1/2 hours up and 1 1/2:hours down, and there wasn't any electricity too. now its only a few hike going there...its my top list to go to. every 3 yesrs 😊
Yeah, I have been there in 2001 and hiked 3+ hours to reach Batad. 😅When I returned in 2017, it was only a 10-minute walk down to reach there. Tourists are more lucky this time.
@melody7809 @tbestevecbr I kinda would have loved that haha! Hiking hours just to get to the village would have been extra fun 🤗 it's better this way for the tourism of the area tho. Luckily there are still longer hikes up to the mountains to more secluded villages, next time when we visit we will do those for sure!
That waterfalls is the source of life of the mountain rice terraces. It irrigates water all thje way down to all rice paddies. Have you tried their brown rice? Maybe you can buy and take it down home. Nice one Susie and Jonathan!
So beautiful and breathtaking! 😍🤩My hands and feet literally sweat by merely watching you walking down on those steep terraces and stone-built steps 😅😅😅
Who ever thought of planting rice in the mountains as we know now as the "Rice Terraces" some 2000 years ago is a very highly ingenuitive thinker. Originally in the Philippines. It's Amazing !

thank you so much for this beautiful scenery that you have shown to us. I wonder if we could visit this place in the near future since we are far away from up North. Wonderful and the views are spectacular. it's a good to know that you are travelling and vlogging at the same time. perfect!
Oh nooo! Be very careful not to slip from the stone steps. Hope one day you can visit the 7 Falls in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato. It’s Bigger and stronger I think the 2nd waterfalls is 2x wider and longer than this one.
Sussie and Jonathan if want to see the most biggest waterfalls in the Philippines you were come to Iligan city in Maria Christina falls 3 times bigger than that waterfall in bananue area..come and visit to Iligan city Mindanao..here you is more beautiful scenery that you don't had see in the other part of the Philippines.
Hello Jonathan and Susie, roadtrip up north is stunning. I noticed that ur phone has umbrella to protect from rain. A simple tip to give ur phone a total protection, why not put ur phone inside a condom. Be sure it's unused.😊👍
Breathtaking scenery ❤ I always love beautiful nature sceneries but I don’t like the hustle and bustle of traveling, that’s why I always relied on bloggers like you not too much cutting and editing. Thanks to you both for the efforts. May God Almighty guide you both with all your families to the right path always. Ameen ❤

I wonder if this is the same rice terrace where they shot that scene with Thanos in Avengers Infinity war? I remember reading somewhere that the rice terrace scene with Thanos was filmed somewhere in the Phillipines.
It is the same!! We talked about it last time we were in Banaue, forgot to mention now. 🙈 I can understand why they picked this place looks so beautiful almost unreal 😍
You and your huaband are vegetarians?i suggest you add some protein in your meal like some fish since you are always on the road, for a healthy body. Just a suggestion😊
We eat a lot of protein 😊 Many vegetables has high amount of protein such as beans or peas even broccoli and some greens! Plus we occasionally eat eggs and fish. It can be difficult sometimes when we travel to remote areas and can't make our own food, just picking whatever is available on the limited menu. But we make up for it later on 🤗
@@oxoelfoxo The best one is spinach or kale but some other greens too like mustard greens or parsley. Not enough to be the only protein intake of course but good extra besides other protein filled vegetables / seeds, nuts 😊
I actually wanted to ask our guide to teach us but when we reached a store with Moma I was already catching my breath so much there were no way I can even chew something 😂

if you live in the province, your life will be longer because the air is pure fresh no pulltution and the vegetables are fresh.
What's the story behind those cairns (rock piles) at the base of the waterfall?
They are balance stones I guess just tourists started to build them and kept adding 🤗

Please please extra careful with those Steep roads!
Are there any mosquitos where you stayed?

That’s a steep trail😅 Good exercise though.
Be careful 😮
