HUGE tip here: Level cooking to 9 ASAP, and whenever you have the chance, do the bounties. They give quick, easy silver and it's amazing to do to fund everything else. Tools, and faster training methods. Don't sleep on bounties, do them all. Once you have level 9 cooking, do bounties, then work on whatever gets you to level 60 total fastest, then RUSH to hopeforest and start carpentry. At level 32 carpentry you can do a step in a spider's nest quest to the south east that will give you GLOBAL deposit boxes, which is a total gamechanger from having to run to the bank every inventory. Use bounties to fund the best training methods all the way to 32 by buying logs, it's super good.
Huge tip. When doing the first main quest, and the obelisk for a huge early guard boost, don't stop at 15 guard. Go up to 20 guard BEFORE grinding other professions so you unlock knowledge buffs. Then every bit of profession training you do works towards knowledge you can turn into a lot of early silver to buy profession tools with.
So how does it compare to rs or other mmo/rpg games? I'm just curious if it's something I'd enjoy. I have a 2100+ total level osrs account, and also have played and loved Skyrim/Oblivion/ESO, Fallout3/NV/4/76, Neverwinter, Albion online etc.

Cant wait to get home and try it out. The combat doesnt look to great for the moment but we will see how it develops over the next 6 months until full release but the rest of it does look really fun. I was a bit afraid of being super lost but after watching this it actually looks very navigatable and intuitive and easy to find things. @VR-tj9ut it's early access. They are planning for it to be that way for 6 months with lots of updates and improvements over that time. And no there will not be a reset after it fully launches.
