      If its heat treated how were you able to drill through it so easily?

      It's not, it would of changed a darker color before he etched it. Even if it was wrapped in foil or inert treated, it still would of grayed and required a complete polish to get "shiny" again.

    Sometimes an artist just creates something that speaks to your soul. I’ve seen much fancier knives, bigger, smaller, varying materials, etc., but for an EDC I can’t imagine a better knife. Literally. If I had the talent to create a knife, this would be it. I absolutely love all your knifes, but this one is 100/100. Well done sir!

    Okay Koss, im a real fan. Im also making knives.. and i reakky have to know. After grinding you polished the knife with some abrasive powder and oil. What material was the sanding block? i also tried it with diamond powder.. but it always hollows out my ,,sanding steel" so i feel like i cant get a crisp, straight surface on my knife.

    Вы сначала обрабатывали торцы на клинке, а потом уже делали накладки? Как их тогда так точно подогнать не обдирая прям на клинке? Хочу вот попробовать стоунвош сделать, но пока не знаю как с достаточной точностью до склейки всё это подогнать, чтобы после сборки не пришлось обдирать вместе с застоунвошенными торцами клинка.

    • @markvinny30

      Just use cobalt drills before heat treatment.

    • @kg3775
      @kg3775 4 роки тому

      @@markvinny30 the billet is already heat treated to hrc60 previous to any work. I believe that is the reason no heat treat is shown on the video. But I will try a Cobalt drill. I am just wondering if heating the hole locations while moist wrapping the rest of the blade will soften the heat treat.
