@@kcadenza514 I travel in China for business, so usually near the coast. From Qingdao to the Vietnam border. I still haven't even been to Chengdu, Chongqing or Wuhan because those cities and Changsha don't have industries that I deal in. When China eventually lets me back in, I'm planning to visit all. I do have a trip scheduled to run the Chengdu Marathon, but I'm guessing I won't be allowed in by then.

Let me tell you what kind of city Changsha is. Changsha is the capital city of Hunan Province. During the World War II, Japan began to invade China on July 7, 1937. At the end of 1937, they occupied a large area of China's wealthiest places, including Beijing, Shanghai, and Jiangsu, including Nanjing, the capital of China at that time. Japan fought in Hunan in 1938, and never made a step forward. It fought in Hunan Province for 7 years, until China won the final victory in 1945. This is Changsha, this is Hunan!!!
Changsha is also known as the city that loves spicy food. theres a saying that changsha people arent scared of spicy, they are scared that its not spicy enough.
Amazing may not be the right word. My wife and I were in Hunan some 15 years ago. We went to a small restaurant, as we are Cantonese we asked the waiter to help us order dishes which were NOT hot. Well, they turned out to be TOO hot still!

At the end of 1937, they occupied a large area of China's wealthiest places, including Beijing, Shanghai, and Jiangsu, including Nanjing, the capital of China at that time. Japan fought in Hunan in 1938, and never made a step forward. It fought in Hunan Province for 7 years, until China won the final victory in 1945. This is Changsha, this is Hunan!!!

Amazing may not be the right word. My wife and I were in Hunan some 15 years ago. We went to a small restaurant, as we are Cantonese we asked the waiter to help us order dishes which were NOT hot. Well, they turned out to be TOO hot still!
