I agree, she displayed a perfect balance of both yin and yang. She flows seemingly effortlessly, and then the strength and power that came from amongst those movements. Some were so subtle, but powerful. I thought it was beautiful too. She makes it appear so easy. Which shows the dedication she's put into this performance. Thanks 🙏
When you have experienced practicing Taijiquan yourself you can understand how fluid she is. It is poetry. She has integrated the qi into every breath thought and action. You can feel it when she moves. I could almost see the wheel around her. I was emotionally affected as well. Thanks for sharing.
The amount of control this girl has over every single muscle in her body is insane. Most of us find out what muscles we have when we injure them, but I'm pretty sure she knows them all.
agree shes awesome! keeps in mind that of the importance of "listening to your body" through clear mind consciousness as well ,on where it is and how it can do this form to be agile and the flow of "chi or energy". note to self she had tendinitis and slip disk when she wasdoing this
Her movement is beautiful , matches the music Wushu takes dedication, hard work and patience I could only dream as being as graceful as that It’s almost like she’s in a meditative state while she is moving it flows so naturally Makes me wish I could learn wushu not only because it’s beautiful but it would improve my focus , flexibility and I suppose I connection to myself and the world around me Wow that go so philosophical lol
Now that i think about it, martial arts is more than just a dance, but nearly the same, you can admire the forms they take each step they make the same thing with dance, both just look equally as good... well done
Biggest difference is in dance you have to dance as soft and relaxed as possible, but in martial arts we need to make every move with full strength and power, so we get more tired in making the martial atrs move.
Wushu is less a martial art and more of a performance/demonstration of control. They are similar in movements, but very different in intent. Wushu is more about personal expression and fluidity of movement. Martial arts is about form and intent to injure/disable. It's like the difference between Jet Li and Jackie Chan. Both have starred in martial arts movies, but Jackie Chan is not a martial artist. He's great at movements (and he stars in some of my favorite MA movies ever), but in a real fight he wouldn't be as effective. Jet Li, on the other hand, is trained in Shao Lin as a martial monk. They are two sides of the same coin. They share a space, but have different uses.
This is the beauty of Chen style Taiji. The people you see doing Taiji at the park is nothing like this. This can only be performed by athletic, flexible, and those with martial arts training.
