Josef Reiterer is the sparkling wine pioneer of Alto Adige. His love of the “bubbly” has inspired him to use the best Alto Adige wines to make sparkling wine. He founded the highest situated sparkling winery in Europe at an altitude of 1,200 m in the late 1970s, making him a pioneer of sparkling wine culture in Alto Adige. Since then, he has been running the winery together with his family.
