Ive watched many of this years under20s wc and the games have been brilliant.. loads of energy and tries aplenty seriously entertaining full on commitment rugby
I think at underage level, with less than a tenth of the population, Ireland always struggles to find props that can compete with those from France and England. The difference narrows at senior level as you don't need 4 good ones in every age tier, if you you find 4 within a decade of each other you are ok.
Well that was a good old scrap; both sides 100%. English lads out muscled them in the scrum that was the only difference I could see. the future odes well for our Irish and English young bloods.
Even the bespectacled gentleman in row Z could see that left hook ominously ignored by our representative of rugby arbitration on the field who must have been busy admiring Mr Kerr's epic injury time try it seems........so were we 😊.
This annoncer was over the top trying to add extra excitement and he had been obdurate with his dictionary to glean out new words, but didn't get that one quite right.
That English front row would have destroyed the full Irish front row ! Oh I forgot furlong couldn’t lock out the scrum against the English women’s team ! Ssssshhhhh say nothing! Best tight head in the world
Hardly advertised , struggled to find decent coverage of the games. The quality all through this tournament has been high from the top 4 sides, the others are clear next level down, well done England !
I did ask the French. They said the English just steam rolled them and took the title. They were left on the side of the road crying "We can't play rugby".
Cannot help but notice the nonstop sneaky, dirty, underhanded tactics from the irish side. They seem to know that the referee will not award any fouls against them for their dirty, sneaky play and that just encourages them to carry out even more sneaky, dirty play. Well done to the English lads for trying to play a professional game against a bunch scummy cheats.

Anybody blind to those facts only need to look at the irish no 15 assaulting Kerr as he crossed to touch down in the 41/42 minute. Kerr was over the line..no need for no 15 to try and stop him since he was about to touch down… yet again, the no 15 made no attempt to stop the try.. it was just another opportunity to foul and assault Kerr whilst making it look an innocent tackle. So, so typical of gutless, scummy irish rugby players.
Superb rugby. U20’s playing in the spirit of the game, more entertaining than the seniors.

You can’t honestly expect to win a World Cup without a scrum. That for me separated these teams and the world champions SA are living proof of that.
