Thank you Paul for giving my brother the custom Wwe gloves. Thank you he has had a lot of fun playing lacrosse and u have become and inspiration for him.
Use strength workouts as a supplement to your conditioning rather than the other way round SO instead of doing 3 or 4 compound days with 2 or 3 cardio, do 3 days running (mix it up) and then maybe 1 or 2 full body work outs.. All in all, just mix it up so you never get bored Make it specific to the position you play in the game too - If you're a keeper, it's more plyo and reactions If you're an attackman - stick skills and shuttle sprints etc If you're a middie - all round work, stick skills, tempo changes, fartlek etc If you're a defensemen - Lift more, work on lateral and backpedalling and shuttles Obviously that's just a base and you should be working your all round game anyways but you should lean more towards position specific if you wanna dominate on the field Then you just gotta play the game hard and love it like the rest of us! Cheers @Paul Rabil for the info!
Paul, you are a true inspiration to me. My father, Joey Todd, played pro lacrosse in the original incarnation of the NLL for the Maryland Arrows alongside greats like John Grant Sr. back in the 70s. He also played for team Canada in the first ever World Lacrosse Championship back in 1967, a roster consisting entirely of box lacrosse players because they hadn't a field lacrosse team before. I'm 27 years old (his youngest) and needless to say, I grew up with a love for lacrosse but martial arts and guitar eventually took over as my primary hobbies. Throughout my teens and early 20s I had pancreatitis twice and have dealt with severe gastritis and other gastroenteric problems. On my journey to recovery and personal growth you have become my number one role model for proper nutrition and an active, healthy lifestyle. I cannot stress enough how much I look up to you. Keep doing what you're doing!
Hi Paul, I’m a beginner player from New Zealand! Just letting you know that Lacrosse is most definitely becoming a huge part of my life and motivation to get out there and it’s mostly due to you so thank you!! #fearthebeard #Askpaul #notevenaquestionbutohwell
I don't even play lacrosse but these videos are entertaining and cool. First heard of you on Dude Perfect, found your channel from Brodie Smith. Keep up good work
It may seem like a lot of different exercises and a good amount of reps, but I’ll bet that if they’re done, a clear difference will be noticed in performance. I’m amazed by the number of teenagers who don’t hit the gym or take the extra time, go to the field and try and get better. This is a very good plan and something we’ll implement, 👍
Would you recommend going to a full two hour practice after completing this workout let's say 3 hours before you actually had the practice or would that be too much
What’s the best breathing technique you can do during cardio? I feel like I’m getting stabbed in the chest after 5minutes of continuously sprinting 100%.
