The Miku screams are my favorite part of this song. They played this a few times on their U.S. tour, and it great to see the crowd reaction when she screams.
I may be in the minority but this is my favorite from the Sense single. It is hard, fast, intricate and the hooks are enormous. Their writing skills are seriously on display with all the songs on this single.
I do like Sense, but yes, I like Hibana better. Both are good, though. And Sense was the song that they started most (if not all) of their shows during the 2022 US tour. So for me, every time I hear Sense, I think about that. Sense was the song that announced they were back!
This song is severely underrated. If you are in the minority, I'm right there with you. This is actually one of my very favorite songs from Band-Maid. Top 5 even. Cheers!
Yes, that is Miku doing the screams. BAND-MAID performed Hibana live during their US tour there are fancams out there. This song was written for a Rainbow 6 Siege National tournament. Trident released this year's song, it's good but I prefer Hibana.
It was deemed a "C-side" probably because there are three songs on the Sense maxi-single. Hence, an A-side (Sense), a B-side (Corallium), and a C-side (Hibana).
So now you have to check out Vladimir Chupin's fancam version so you can hear the crowd erupt in a DEAFENING ROAR when Miku (yes, Miku) let's out that massive scream. I'm not joking when I tell you that the hair stood up on my arm. Gives me the shivers just thinking about it. Even in the fancam it doesn't quite prepare you for seeing them do this live at one of their solo shows (where everyone's a maidiac.) ua-cam.com/video/g5Hjm71ldbQ/v-deo.html
This is my second Favorite song from Band-Maid and one of 2 songs I hit the repeat button on. I believe the song is named after the Character in Rainbow Six Siege. Hibana means spark, and hanabi means fire works. Hi - fire, Hana/Bana - flower. If you listen to lyrics, it is about a shooting game like Rainbow six Siege. Technically Hibana is the B-side since it comes after Sense and before Corallium in order of the "Single".
Yep it was for the All-Japan University Rainbow Six comp. Sadly Jk i couldn't be there to participate cos they came up with a silly excuse that i wasn't at University....or Japanese.😔
@@GaryHolloway-810 Those Japanese can be sticklers for stuff like that. Mincho would have given the go ahead for Gary-san to participate I'm sure.🤔 Was there ever any video of the competition when the song was playing?
Honestly, Hibana was a song that snuck up on me. I heard, thought it was okay and thought nothing more. Then after a couple more listens and seeing the live cuts, it shocked me that it rose to my top ten. 👍
One of those songs that I would love to hear in all their concerts. But it is not always played yet to me it is instantly memorable and crowd pleasing. The long note you mentioned is Miku. Just a great song for me on so many levels.
Absolute banger of a tune, scientists the world over are having brain melts trying to reconcile how 5 Maids defy all the laws of physics packing so much talent into their petite frames 🤗👍🍻
This is a very underrated song. Unbelievably good. I just heard it for the first time, but it ripped my face off. :D Why? Why am I only hearing it now? Aaaah!
Band maid b sides deserve their own singles it’s crazy how good they are. My favourite BM track is a b side, check out Matchless Gum (the zepp live version is out their somewhere)
Here's the LIVE version, give props/shout outs to "Instrumental Maid" UA-cam channel.......ua-cam.com/video/tAgtV6gLTgE/v-deo.html That's called stereo.... Everyone goes absolutely ERUPTS when Miku holds that four measure yell at LIVE events.
Great reaction and for vocals, Miku does all the odd vocal embellishments, screams, cat hair balls, coughs, trills, etc. Saiki has said that she leaves that all up to Miku.
If this song is anything other than an A-side, then it is a P-side, which of course can only stand for pigeon. 😇🔥 _____________________ _"America invented rock. England improved it. MISA MISA MISA!!!!! whoever told you "Spark" is a C side is NUTS it is clearly one of the BEST songs they have done (IMO) way better than the other songs on the single Panning and it was Miku
Yes she does at lower register, and Miku does at higher register (literally screams). In this song Saiki also screams but shorter, because she sings the main vocal line prior to that without much breathing space (as usual) ... which people tend to forget.
I could fully explain, but suffice it to say that Hibana was the second song on the flip side of the "A side" single Sense. All this crap doesn't make Sense any more since the 70s when there were just singles, EPs and LPs on actual vinyl.
There is a video of them perforning this song at Eggman Shibuya that is fantastic. This band does not know the meaning of a B or C sides.....they are all A sides
The Miku screams are my favorite part of this song. They played this a few times on their U.S. tour, and it great to see the crowd reaction when she screams.
“Don’t say you love meeee!”
That was Miku doing all the long notes. I love it when the Small Pigeon screams!
And I love it when The Flappy Pigeon growls! Kuruppo! 🕊
I may be in the minority but this is my favorite from the Sense single. It is hard, fast, intricate and the hooks are enormous. Their writing skills are seriously on display with all the songs on this single.

Count me in for the praise of Hibana! 👍. Imho the best of the 3 songs on the single.

same for me

The Akane song ... if you simply add another "na" you can see it was heavily influenced by her as the title becomes Hi Banana ;) .
So not "Nahi bana" like i thought then?🤔
🤣🤣🤣🍌👍😉

All 3 rocks
I would have said Sense Hibana Corralium and only that way cos Sense was the one for the Anime not my choice

Why Why Why,are these ladies so damn good, blows me away,,,oh by the way,,why why why ,is a BM song and its a banger,of course, you may enjoy it.
it is indeed an underrated banger!
Super underappreciated , but I think people are starting to notice it.
Flying high by the band of maids
Stats show that when B-M did their 2022 & 2023 US tours there were less tornado's. Oddly Kanami took her portable "Tornadon't" machine with her.😏
Even Mother Nature is a fan of Band Maid!
@@charlescoleman4017 It's so true.😁
😆In what part of your house to you think of these things? 🤔🏠🚽🛁🚿🛏
Come to think of it, you don't hear about tornado's striking Japan. 🤔

Yes❗️Yes❗️Yes❗️❤❤❤
Sounds moving from 1 Headphone ear piece to the other in stereo is called Panning
I believe this song was done for a gaming competition in Japan. Rarely on a setlist. But should be. Awesome. Peace. 9.59

@@brunobryant4846 Good to know this. I mean Miku is a 810 year old pigeon, seams like she never sleeps They are the most amazing band.
lol, check out The Dragon Cries! I'm interested to hear your opinion on it! It's a very divisive song among the fandom. Also Start Over.
If you don't know: Ohrenje started a BM Manga/Anime project on his channel. Three episodes are already available, more are coming. 😃
This is a very underrated song. Unbelievably good. I just heard it for the first time, but it ripped my face off. :D

This was actually a warning shot at Band-Maiko, or commissioned for the Japanese University National E-games competition. Or both...

The song was officially made for the All-Japan University Rainbow Six Video Game competition.
Coincidentally, Trident released a new song yesterday for I believe is the same event that Hibana was released for.
Sooooo much heavier live and in person!
it was PO !
Miku can hold a note like a Hammond organ. On Why Why Why they even run it through a Leslie. 😏
The YOLO single has 4 songs. The 4th is an instrumental of YOLO. The "c" song is Matchless GUM. An absolute banger!

K-ross....may I suggest...Band Maid - endless story - live at Yokohama Arena
It will change your life..
That extra vocal part that you were talking about was Miku both times.
Cheers!
listen man, there has been enough bad blood between Band Maid and Band Maiko, no need to throw gas on that fire. . . . . 🤣🤣🤣
Well he provided the "Spark" with Hibana.🔥

Because it works. 😉👍
Those long screams are done by Miku. Short one at 4:24 is Saiki. The falsetto at 5:28 is Saiki. The quality of their voice is different.
If this song is anything other than an A-side, then it is a P-side, which of course can only stand for pigeon. 😇🔥
