At £600? Hard to see how you will make your money back if for personal use.

I agree its a big initial outlay but over time or if bought as a collective it would be cheaper. There's always the option of selling it on too once you've used it, made some changes and reassessed.

How do you plan on fitting the extra loft insulation? If you stand on the existing insulation you will compress it and diminish it's insulation qualities.

I'm going to lay a board overt the joists as you can't stand on the insulation directly so not to go through the ceiling. I'll re fluff the insulation after as able.
