The moment Patrick pulled out his water bottle and you assume he's going to give it to Vera but he drinks from it instead reminds me of my grandfather going into a massive coughing fit at my cousin's Bat Mitzvah and my grandmother coming over to him after dancing with one of her sons to see if he was okay. My aunt then came to them, worried, with a glass of water in her hand and my grandmother grabbed the glass and went "thanks honey, I'm really thirsty." While her husband is folded in half behind her. That's true love right there.
We had something going on at our house back around 2000 and i had decided to contact lorraines group. I told them what was going on and they gave me a # to call. To my surprise, Ed answered the phone!!! I was totally shocked. never in a million yrs did i think i'd be talking to them directly? I told Ed what was up and he put me on the phone with Lorraine right away! They were both so lovely and sweet. I was way down in Fl and they were going to be giving a lecture at a college not too far away coming up. She wanted me to bring the doll that was the problem and come see her. When it was all said and done, i would have had to take my daughter to a place i didn't know and drive at night (with that cursed doll!!). for 1, i didnt like to drive places i was unfamiliar with, esp at night and it was about 1 1/2 away or so. ntm i was scared to death to travel with that doll! i thought maybe something bad would happen? plus, this was back before GPS and such. As much as i would have loved to meet ed & lorraine, i was too scared to go.
Well it wasnt bad so because if u are really having paranormal happenings u would walk to china in high heels that are too small for u trust me i know the risk traveling out weighed the problem
@@aaronfinnegan5035 Yeah I agree. My mom didn't know about Ed and Lorraine when my grandmother got possessed and she had to perform the exorcism herself. She tells me all the the time that she would have done anything to not go through that. I think my family might be cursed but this wasn't the only time, or person. And we've all had experiences. It absolutely sucks.
Such an amazing pair and a beautiful couple as Lorraine and Ed Warren in THE CONJURING part 1 and part 2. They play their part perfectly as well as they believe in what they do or say . No doubt 👍🏻
Just the fact Patrick Wilson referenced Dokken-Dream Warriors was bad ass!! 🤘 These two made the first two Conjuring movies work! The movies were paranormal without anyone questioning or having disbelief that those things could really happen and it wasn't cheese whiz scary like a Jason, or Freddy movie. I have become a huge fan of the Conjuring franchise now having just watched them this past week with my build up to Halloween DVD freight fest. I was SO impressed, and blown away by the script, the acting, the story telling and just purity of what made this movie psychologically scary. I love the fact they didn't have to resort to or rely on random killings or body dismemberment to try and be scary. These movies reminded me of what the late-Leslie Nielsen said about Airplane! from 1980. He said, "The audience wasn't TOLD what was supposed to be funny, bc each scene had so many variables of humor that anyone watching could pick something out that THEY thought was funny". That's what I felt about these movies bc each scene has some element of scariness or fear of something that catches and captivates anyone at any given time. When a movies pulls you in with those types of elements, that's when you have movie magic. That's why in the comedy realm Airplane! is one if the greatest and classic comedies of all time even 39 Years later and why THIS franchise has become an instant classic and will remain a classic for years down the road.
Honestly, the woman interviewing Vera and Patrick had a serious case of foot-in-mouth after commenting on Vera's character in Bates Motel. She must have not made it to episode 7 in season 3 yet to make a comment like that. Norma is a "bitch" in the most hilarious and charming way. After everything she went through in her life growing up and now with Norman, not to mention picking up the pieces on her own, she just wants a good and happy life. That's a very honorable thing in my opinion, because it could be so easy to let all that emotional pain and trauma consume a persons life. She shows great compassion in season 3 with the difficult situation regarding her brother and their terrible past. She has zero patience for rude and ugly people at this point in her life, which makes her naïve at times to the ways of the world but far from a bitch. Norma is the perfect example of "0 to 100 real quick" Vera handled that comment, like everything else, with poise and sophistication
I do feel for her, but she was the one who sealed her own faith when she decided not to let Norman go when he tried to kill himself. I love Norman to my core, his original version as well, but that's exactly why it hurt so much to see her KISS him, on his lips, when he was so disturbed and so sad and so vulnerable and manipulated him to stay WITH HER, FOR HER. He wanted to die. He was depressed and he felt that horrible guilt and was terrified of his own darkness and a killer or not, that's completely legitimate. But Norma chose to keep him alive against his will because SHE couldn't live without him, not the other way around. And that ultimately led to that deep, deep confusion and the moment his consciousness absorbed that form of his mom, the form that drove him to insanity, there was just no way for him to seperate her from his real mom so he HAD NO CHOICE but to kill her. So HE could be free. The fact that it didn't work because our souls don't work that way is a different discussion but the point is that he killed Norma because he wanted to kill himself but felt so guilty and manipulated by her that he couldn't leave her alone. So yeah, she loved him but the way she made him suffer, I take Norman's side. 1000%
Hm... It's only natural that Vera would describe Loraine THIS way... BUt not too long ago, I watched in interview with the woman from Hunting in Connecticut (I'm not talking about the movie, but about the REAL LIFE EVENT that happened) case, where Ed & Loraine were directly involved! And let me tell you, that woman, described both of them in a very different way! That thing, "we just wanna help a family, bla, bla..."... well, according to that woman, and all of her closed ones, involved in the events back then, all confirmed that Ed & Loraine were everything BUT helping them, but actually took the case, just to have their own agenda fulfilled. I'm not saying that they hadn't really helped many families and did it for real, but obviously, they aren't exactly ALL THAT KINDLY AND HELPING TO EVERYONE IN TROUBLE, just for the sake of helping the family, and nothing else, especially not for a personal gain! Because you know what? The moment I learned they were involved in the Amityville case... their credibility DROPPED DOWN like an axe in a water!

@@adrianmoreno7215 Dude, you must really not know what a good actress is, if you say such stupidities, then. Only because James Wan didn't contact her for other movies, doesn't make her a bad actress, and James Wan is not the only director in Hollywood. Does Ava Duvernay and Bates Motel, just for say a few, ring a bell? If not, you know very poorly, or absolutely nothing, about cinema.
