I am so happy to see vlogmas!!! I am in very bad place with my mental health (i am going to therapy soon) so this is such a perfect time for me with these videos! I really like to rewatch your videos when i feel bad, it comforts me
There must be something with the tape decks in those old Omnibots because I have an Omnibot 2000 with a broken tape deck belt as well. (She's developed a bunch of other issues since I bought her 8 years ago, but we know how to work on those.) Have you had issues with Sunday's tires disintegrating/melting? It might have been the carpet I left mine sitting on, but the 35-year-old rubber started falling apart on my '2000 and I had to just take them off. (I know where to get replacements though so it isn't the end of the world.)
I'm surprised you still have Sunday's original battery, that was one of the first things I had to replace on Ommi. Obviously they don't make those batteries anymore, but SLA batteries of that size/voltage are still in production - you just have to make your own pigtail wire connector to plug it into the robot.
(okay sorry I probably sound like a crazy person but I'm just excited to see someone else who's into Tomy's Omnibot line) Also, Matcha chirping and carrying on while you're trying to talk in this video is the funniest thing XD
Sunday's wheels are in surprisingly good shape but I wouldn't be surprised considering how old the rubber is. The battery is actually a remake from omnibot2k. I don't know if they're still making them though. Omnibots are great! I don't see a ton of people who have them though, I'd love to get a 2000 someday, but I'm waiting for right one to pop up

I’m so happy that Vlogmas is back!! Your videos always fill me with holiday cheer and it’s a lovely feeling. Matcha is obvsly happy to be the center of videos again. Hope your December goes well and that you have some good health days ahead
