bro im a shia and i love our 12 imams and im a strong shia follower, but why not choose RasulAllah PBUH to meet?
Or why not God himself? I wondered the same. But I realized it's really dependent on the person answering. There isn't a right or wrong answer to the question. One may choose Imam Ali because he was the closest to the Prophet. To meet the one raised by the best of creations, is to witness a marvelous evidence of the Prophet's Prophethood.

This comment and people saying I'm surprised he didnt choose the prophet to meet first, actually I'm surprised with such idiotic comments, because I believe meeting Imam Ali first would be the wiser choice. The Prophet pbuh would be more happier in my opinion. To get to the city of knowledge one should go through its gate.
Also another point why is it recommended to do ziarat of abal fadl first before imam hussain. Think wisely and you will know.
As a shia I am saying if it was me I would like to first meet hurr ibn yazeed before meeting the Imams or prophet first.
I'm truly disappointed with such comments.
