Hello do you know the width of these flaps? I have a Black Diamond non sasquatch coming and I think I'm gonna do something similar to you in the front. Also dumb question, but how did you drill the holes perfectly to line up with the factory holes in your bronco? Thanks!
@@OneBadBuick good idea thanks! I may have to trim the outer edge down a bit to work with the non sasquatch flares so the ford emblem is still centered.
This looks awesome thanks -- do you know if these are flat, and would work "backwards" ? I am not crazy about that big ass ford logo and would love to mount 'em so the logo was on the inside of the wheel well instead. Might be weird. Maybe a sharpie could solve it :)
Thanks for the video--esp the shot w/ the Part #! Did you have to drill new holes high up in the flare? I am having a terrible time finding flaps to work w/ my EG '22 2-door non-SAS w/ the same OEM sidesteps you're showing. I sent the part # to my Ford Service guy to see if that's the same part they already tried (that didn't work) or if this would be something else to try. Edit: My dealer said the FL3Z-16A550-C was not the part # they have. I'm wondering, tho, if the tire still throws mud thru the gap between the flap and the step?
@@beverleykane8164 They seem to be working good. The rocks make lots noises hitting the steps and under carriage but there are no chips or scratches on the paint. Haven't been in real mud yet but of driving on wet dirt roads is keeps the big streak of mud off of the side. If I hung them down farther they would work even better but I don't like the look and they would probably get damaged off road
@@OneBadBuick Yeah, several people have said they remove the flaps for off-roading--one guy had a tale of woe wrt his flap getting torn off on a boulder--but that seems like a pain. I don't plan to do any rugged off-roading, but I work on a ranch where the mud and puddles are 3-8" during the rainy season.
These are perfect.
How you get the bottom screw in mine has a plastic box behind and no place to put a clip

They are 11¾" wide. You can put a touch of grease on the bolt head then it will transfer to the spot to drill.

They are flat, should be able to reverse them

I only have 2 screws on each. I used the same holes but the new hardware that came with the flaps
@@OneBadBuick Thanks! Are you getting mud/rocks thrown in the gap at the outer edge, between the step and the flap?

@@OneBadBuick One last question: can you think of any reason this mod *wouldn't* work on a non-SAS model?
