Lovely video, really took me down memory lane .i got quiet emotional because myself ,husband an family have been going to wooda for years we loved it. We started off camping then got a tourer .then started going in there caravans and the last time we went was in one of the cottages for my daughter jodies 30th birthday .we used to go every year sometimes twice a year ..the last time we went my husband was ill he had lung cancer .and I lost him 19months ago ,so this has bought lots of good memories up for me ..he used to go to the fishing lake too, .but also made me sad that he’s not with me now looking at this .i have told him every bit about it though to his photo beside me . Glad you enjoyed it there .its such a special place and the collwall family are lovely people . .xxxx
Ah glad you guys had a great stay at Wooda .. it looks like you all had a wonderful time apart from some wet days . My first visit to Wooda was in 1994 we had a touring caravan , Myself husband & 2 children Also my sister & her 4 kids had there touring van & so it made a great family holiday all the kids playing together . wonderful days out at the beach etc .. We loved it so much we decided to leave our caravan @ Wooda in there storage , which men't we only had to phone & book the pitch & they wood set the caravan up for us .. saved all that towing .. now the children are grown adults and opt for fly away holidays we do still book in at Wooda Occasionaly not with the caravan as that's long gone but we now book in to there cottage .. we drive around the different parts of Cornwall but always land back at Wooda .. Things have changed over the years but for the better and i'm always amazed at how there is always something new to see @ Wooda Its such a lovely place even if the weather isnt always so great .. Wooda has given us some special Memories we will continue to visit for many more years to come i hope .
Nice to read a positive review for Wooda. We stayed in nearby Widemouth this year but would have rather camped at Wooda as we like Kilk and that side of Bude. But covid dictates what we can and can’t do for 2020!
Great video, shame you didn’t catch any fish but it looks like you all had a great time. I’m sure the dog in the seaweed was a bit smelly before he had his dog shower. Nice b roll, I should do more of that in my videos. Well done, keep creating.
