can you please make a video on helping centre backs play the ball during build up? i sometimes struggle to find teammates who arent pressed and my coach hates playing long balls
1)aro formula + I want to do this not I have to do this 2) commit to minimum to get started 3) plan the whole day one night before have a schedule and use time blocking 4) goat version of yourself with brutal honesty see yourself as the goat and when he looks back what you are doing and then imagine him asking are you serious do you want to Be pro if yes then just do it and ask us this the thing my goat version is doing now if no then count 5-4-3-2-1 let's go 5) don't rely on motivation rely on dicipline
The last point is a big one and might actually be the hardest one, doing something over and over again won't be possible with just motivation, you have to fight your mind and body constantly to get up and start working. Very helpful video thank you 👍
Hey Sam, first of all thank you for your videos, they really help. Second, This Summer I switched teams to the rivals of my old team. Now, next week I will play against my old team. Any tips on how I can dominate the game? Thank you.
Focus on staying composed, trust your skills, and use the excitement of the rivalry to fuel your performance. Remember, it's just another game, so play your game and enjoy it!
this guy has literally helped me improve as a footballer since I started watching him. I'm now playing academy football. despite this, I still procrastinated a bit when it came to training or match analysis (mainly training). but sam has come through and whipped up a great video again. he is so helpful and he knows what he is talking about. this man needs more than 52k subs.
Hi Sam, all your videos are great and very helpful in framing problems athletes have. Q: How to make change really stick though? Athletes can watch this stuff and get it, but its like learning to shoot a basketball. Unless you do reps at game speed and game pressure you still won't be able to shoot when it counts. Any ideas appreciated!
Thanks - I'm actually running a workshop this weekend on making mental skills training a habit i.e. what can be done to stick to a consistent routine of it. would you be interested?
I train Alot Like Alot. But some days I get to the training pitch and my mental can't literally do it. It stops me from training when I Usually Want to
Hey Sam Martin, UA-cam recommended one of your videos, you post awesome stuff, Btw, I was wandering o you guys need a video editor and UA-cam growth strategist who work specifically with Sports video? Is this something you are considering? LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT TO SEE MY WORK SAMPLE! keep creating content!

That's not the kind of stuff I cover sadly, I'm a mental coach. Your best bet is finding videos on that area published by skill specific channels.
Exactly 💯,,and thanks you're helping millions of people... God bless you

Love the idea about it being discipline, not motivation. Another great video, as always 🎉❤

Sam martin can you make a video of why Pro Athletes lose motivation in training? Please.
everyone loses motivation, it naturally just comes and goes
But I skipped my training session cause I felt small injury in knee
nothing wrong with that
