In the japanese version of YKW2 (and YKW1 in this case), Boss Wobblewok's bio states: "It is said that in the past, a disaster known as 'Dondoro' struck the Yokai World, which was such a horrible thing that its considered a taboo word. With numerous yokai having risked their souls in the battle to calm it down, even now it still sleeps at the bottom of infinite hell, sealed in a cauldron." (Note that Dondoro is Wobblewoks japanese name) Friend Wobblewok's japanese bio says : "A yokai born from the gathered souls of the yokai that have fallen on the battlefield during the time of a great war. Its mighty power cant be controlled, thus it was sealed within a large pot." and I dont know if it adds anything, but the japanese name of the item Wobblewok drops that you need to get the friend version is "Dondoro Source" (or material, or ingredient, something like that, yes?) and its descriptions says: "A mixture of many Yokai's souls. Its warm, and soft like clay." Note that these are translated by myself, so there might be mistakes for all I know, but this seems to be the general idea at the very least.

Life pro tip: if you have to sneeze, but it’s a really bad time for sneezing, put pressure on the little bony part on the underside of your nose. After a few seconds of pressure, the urge to sneeze should go away. Unfortunately, Whisper doesn’t have a (visible) nose… so that might be problematic.

I've heard of people getting it on their first battle with him. In order to be safe and not waste time, I would battle him once - then battle him the next day.
I beat him over 20 times I still don’t have it and I have a cynake soul at lvl 10 and another one at lvl 6 but I still can’t get it and I already activated the quest
I HAVE NOT ditched Jibanyan throughout the whole story the first time I played through Yo-kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits. My team back then was... Jibanyan, Buchinyan, Faux Kappa, Flamurice, Lie-in Heart, and Auntie Heart.

I managed to keep jibanyan until dedtime, because he was holding my team back. I replaced him with dracunyan and still barely made it through
