All that was said was you should have a year taken away from you if you transfer. That would be lame. If they wanna transfer it’s on them. That’s why ncaa football teams reduced the number of active players that can actually be on the roster
I heard Coach Napier decided to put Desmond Watson in at fullback, a 449-pound defensive lineman. He took the handoff and powered through for a first down, which thrilled the crowd and became a memorable moment of the game🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈
Okay, maybe it amounts to something far from any joy of victory, but for Tulane fans I'm sure their team finally getting on the board in the final seconds was relieving! Shut Tulane out we did not! LOL At least a tiny moral victory for Tulane. They denied us a shutout, and right near the end too! Gators felt some real disappointment. I am sure that disappointment was felt by many a Gator, even if only for just a few seconds.
I’m so proud of this gator team dint like the way we started the season but it was mainly due to injuries billy Napier was on the hot seat like the way how we played against Lsu and ole miss won 4 straight and and finish the season strong hopefully we take these last 4 wins to start off strong for next season
Hey much respect to the Green Wave. GG to you guys and the fans. But so proud of this UF team. Let's carry the momentum into next season now. Go Gators!🐊🧡💙 Also SEC SEC SEC! Let's go baby!😎
No doubt. I admit bias towards Thompson - he did misfire on a few attempts but they clearly had no definite plan for using him in this game. Who the F calls a flea-flicker on the games first play with a QB limited to less than 20 passes on the year?
Yall just played a good defense. Tulane was overmatched. If Florida hadn’t started playing all the back ups it would have been 33 to zip. Florida too mercy on Tulane. I respect the coaches for that.
Im a Gator fan but Mario Williams the guy who caught that TD is from Plant City which is my hometown and REALLY CLOSE TO TAMPA BAY where this game was played at. Great young man. This was a homecoming game for him. He originally played for Oklahoma x1 year as a 5 star coming out of HS and then transferred to USC x2 years and finished his college career at Tulane and become a 1000 yard reciever on that play for this year. So it was a special moment in his home town. Knowing his story like I do, it is REALLY easy to see why he was celebrating that moment.
can Florida win a championship with Napier? no can Florida win a SEC championship with Napier? no will Florida be over .500 next year? yes the gators will be in a similar situation that the hurricanes have been in the past 4 years. great recruiter, average coaching.

That first pick by lagway, he definitely didn’t see that db behind the ref, then the ref gone move out the way when he see the ball coming 🤦🏾♂️ tell that ref get out the wayyyy😭😭
Bro tf we were 😭😭with lagway starting we won about every single game we were good just filled with injuries we played Texas with our third string qb and with Georgia we played with our third stringer half the game and came close to beating them💀
8-5 with a ridiculously brutal schedule! Ended with a ton of momentum, excited for next season & year 2 Lagway
This game was more about the Gator defense than Lagway.
Which is good cuz we already know what Lagway can do. Cant wait for next season

@litedawg the smallest school vs a top school , no competition see ?

Shoutout to Andre Ware for speaking the truth about transferring at the end of the game.
