Great video .. initial startup the lid should always be open until all the smoke clears.. u dont want draw back and have an auger fire

I enjoyed the video. If I have any criticism it would be the random music was way too loud. I was also choosing between a ranger and this grill and being that you've had both I was hoping you would do more comparison between the two.

We have a Traeger Tailgater and really like it. We’ve heard good things about this one as well.
We had a Traeger Tailgater a few years ago. We ended up giving it to our daughter because it wouldn't fit in the motorhome we had at the time. I really wanted it back when we went to the truck and travel trailer but thought that would be kinda mean. lol. Thanks for watching. Kent and Tami

Which one do you like better the traeger ranger or the GMG Trek and why?
I prefer the GMG. The cooking area is a little bigger, the temperature control is more accurate and it is made really well. I ended up giving my traeger to one of my sons. Hope this helps. They both work great. Thanks for watching and commenting. Have a great week.
Can it fit in a truck bed if you have a bed cover ?
Not sure it would. Without the stack it measures close to 21 inches tall. The stack is easily removed and adjustable. It would be a very tight fit in my truck. I have a 2020 GMC 2500. Thanks for watching and asking. Hope this helps. Kent
