Not an okc fan, but that game 6 was very close. Literally came down to Shai late-fouling PJ on a corner 3 for 3 easy free throws. Shai doesn't foul, they win that game and head back to OKC for game 7 with all the momentum; who knows how that game 7 would have played out 😂.
I think a major factor that’s contributed to more injuries is the fact that refs are allowing a lot more contact this season which increases the likelihood of injuries.
If OKC (SGA) lose to Dallas (Luka) in the cup, after losing to them in the playoffs it's officially panic stations. At a certain point SGA has to get over the line against Luka in a big game. They are the same age (25-26), and in the same conference. You can't keep losing to a career rival.
Idk that it's full panic though. Chet is their 2nd best player, even though most would say JDub is their 2nd best... Chet is just matchup nightmare, and we haven't even seen him play next to Hartenstein yet. So if they lose, they can always chalk it up to them not having Chet. Almost like Celtics fans chalking up their Ls when they don't have JB or Porzingis in the games they lose 😂
You guys need to talk about the Knicks more, completely skipped over them in this. How is your main note about the Knicks matchup in relation to the playoffs 3 years ago? Don't think I've heard you discuss the Knicks in any detail all season
Shai could score for himself, but he didn't elevate his team as a whole with playmaming like Luka did. That is why Luka was the better overall player and lead his team to the win.
The constant OKC glazing is insane!
I'm pretty sure PJ guarded Shai last year. Either way, Shai went off last year and OKC still lost

@@berserkmonk5331And if Dallas hadn't collapsed with a huge lead in game 4 they might have won 4-1. Let's talk in facts and not what-ifs

It's rhe new load management rules
nah that's bs lol
@ lol prove that it isn’t if it’s so obvious.
OKC has lots of guys to guard Lukas. Luka was hurt and got 25, 10.5, and 9 plus 1.8 steals per game. They shut him down, right?
“Pace in the 70’s was wayyy faster than it is now” yeah- I call bullshit on that

Shai cooked Mavs even with Djj as primary defender.
IHart is far more interesting player to watch, his paint presence can swing this matchup
Cooked mavs and still got dominated 4-2 lol.
