OMG YOU BLEW MY MIND, I LOVE Dean Stockwell and I had NO IDEA that he was in one of my favorite episodes of Twilight Zone!!! So crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RIP to a TRUE G.O.A.T.
Seriously I'm dropping tons of comments on this video for your algorithm benefits because you honored him so well in this video and I see you did it almost exactly a month after he died. Beautiful I wish he could have watched this video. I believe he is right now with me up in heaven. Or maybe he already did when you made it! I hold these beliefs because I really want to see my Mother again in heaven when I die. My little cousin too.
Watched Married to the Mob a couple of nights ago with my partner and we were knocked over by how good, funny and entertaining it is. Dean Stockwell is brilliant in it! So much of an endearing baddie.
By the way, I appreciate the way you honored Dean in the beginning with all that background info on him you gave! Wasn't necessary but a nice bonus to the whole vid! You earned my sub today, sir!!!!
Paris, Texas is a sublime masterpiece, one of my all time favourites. Quick correction: Wim Wenders, is a German filmmaker, not British. Yes, I agree. Dean Stockwell was quietly menacingly in Blue Velvet, by David Lynch.
I know Dean was just a child in "Gentlemen's Agreement", but it's just FASCINATING to think he was in a movie that was released in 1947!!!! I know Dean mostly from QL (Obvs) but I also noticed him straight KILLIN' his role in _"Air Force One"_ outperforming all his colleagues (IMHO), and that's why I noticed his presence in the first place!
Dean's roles always feel totally believable, like he is either cast perfectly, or he's just _SO GREAT_ that he can bring a role straight to life no matter what the characters, circumstances, or script; he's just _THAT GOOD_ ... I say... ¡¡¡ITS BOTH!!!
Another great actor who shone both in movies and TV. One of the few who was stellar both as a child and adult. As a personal favorite, I enjoyed him in Kim. But his most chilling and memorable role for me was in Compulsion.
You made a mistake, I have to say: PARIS, TEXAS was made by German director Wim Wenders. I liked Stockwell performances in THE BOY WITH GREEN HAIR, OUT TO THE SEA IN SHIPS, and COMPULSION. KIM, despite of being more well known, is not one of his best films, I think. Interesting retrospective. You did it nicely to pay a well-deserved homage to a very underrated actor, and also one of the best child actors of his generation.
He didn't like it because he was forced into it .the father & mom were divorcing and father wasn't gonna pay child support so he told mom to put him & older brother guy ( who appeared in an episode of quantum leap) in plays .guy acted for a bit but dean was the one who stayed at it longer and had more success. he had a memorable cameo in blue velvet, did one of his most memorable movie characters Tony russo in married to the mob and of course quantum leap, he appeared in Battlestar Galactica as twins later turned to his first love art .human highway is another cult classic ( even if he didn't think so ) has a lot to do with how a chemical plant is ruining a small town , he co directed with some other man , it stars his 2 friends Neil young and russ tamblyn, I am " obsessed with finding stuff articles on dean he's such an underrated hugely talented actor not to mention the fact he had no idea how handsome he was or he didn't think of himself that way .I read two different things about dean one from long time friend late Dennis Hopper that Dean's eyes said so much without him having to act , his eyebrows were what set him apart as an actor , his eyes and eyebrows did some really good acting .I wasn't crazy about sons and lovers , long days journey meah , rapture was beautiful.i love how he would add something to the characters he would play .
Two Columbo episodes, Most Crucial Game, in which he is murdered by Robert Culp, and Troubled Waters, where another Robert, Vaughn this time, commits a murder and frames band musician Stockwell.
I always loved his work, and a very handsome man.
I say he was a adorable child , handsome man young and older .

Great list. Loved Dean Stockwell's performance as a Judge in the "Rainmaker",
Indeed, "The Rainmaker," is So Great!
I'm not an African American but "Paris, Texas" actually looks like a movie I could enjoy! Thanks for pointing that out PAHTNUH!!!

Many of these performances were small but memorable roles.
He was perfect as Al Calavicci in the classic Quantum Leap.
can you do for Joan crawofrd, brad davis ?
Absolutely! Coming Soon...
