Wow, Ron, you have a way of bringing these stories to life. 😊 Thank you for putting this all together! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, plus all the “gang” who follow this page! 🦃🇺🇸🙏🏻
Wow, it's unimaginable that a whole family would be this evil and hateful. What a story! I am surprised that back then a couple of the prison sentences were changed to a lesser degree. I don't think that was very common in those days. Ron, you really brought this story to life with your narration and the pictures that you showed. Great job! RIP to the ones who deserve to 💗💐
It is early morning here in sweden. Really should be sleeping but I woke up to my phone beeping. Still warm under sheets of cotton, YES, time for Faces of the forgotten ❤❤❤
Loved the old photo's and wow they had no mercy in their hearts! Killing, tossing dead bodies! What a sad waste of life! Indeed wild story and very well done Sir!Have a great day Sir and The Gang!

@@FacesoftheForgotten Ron I have been a subscriber for almost 3 years, your content is always very unique unlike other channels plus your A Fantabulous Storyteller 🤗
I really enjoyed your narration Ron! The pictures added a great visual as you told the story. It was like listening to a good book with a soothing informative voice. I hope you do more narratives.
Hello. People who individually are unfortunately evil and do evil things are not so because of their racial makeup. Having Native American ancestry in and of itself does NOT explain or excuse their actions. There most certainly are many with Native American blood who are honorable and law Abiding.
I think everyone today knows that people of Indian heritage today are good people. but it certainly shows the intense racism against Indians from back then. we have racism today, yes, but not like that - only the worst of idiots today equate Indian peoples with that reasoning mentioned from whispers of those citizens in the 1800's. by the way, I use the term "Indian" because it is a word proudly supported by most full blooded Indian peoples that I personally know, or have met in cities and reservations across our country. today there are those who are insulted by almost any word, and they want to change to what they feel are proper terms that do not even describe anything specific, and in the process, like in this example, diminish a heritage. it is like the term "illegal alien" that is now thought to be bad. they say they should be now called "undocumented immigrants". maybe they will eventually morph that into "legally-challenged citizens" next?

🥂🍾🎉HAPPY THANKSGIVING 🦃 Yet another interesting story indeed! You could read the ingredients off a box of cereal and make it sound interesting 😁 Too bad they burned that place to the ground --who knows what might have been hidden under the floor boards. I saw a video where a man was fixing up his grandfather's old farm house - they took up the floorboards and found coins & jewelry & all sorts of things, they also found stuff in the downstairs staircase post. Living back in those days of your video here sounded like many led a pretty rough life indeed. As always thank you for another glimpse into a past we would not have known if it weren't for you videos.
There was a family like that in the late 1800s early 1900s in Kentucky , They would hire people from Mexico to work in their coal mine and when it comes to pay them they would just killem and take them back in that mine and bury them , the bodies are still in that old mine the front of the mine got covered when they did some mining in the 60s but I believe I found where the entrance was because of tye shape of the landscape and I found a old trolly car wheel out in front of it this story goes alot deeper than that to , if you would like to know more of the story and about them let me know .
I live in Dubuque IA. I'm going to see if I can track down anything interesting about Nancy's time here and the husband, though our records say his last name was Shaffleback.

I’d drink whiskey and chew tobacco if I had to live in conditions like these….Thanks Ron and friends for another dark step back into history. -Nina
You can add opium to the whiskey and tobacco!
More like drink laudanum and rotgut moonshine and use early syringes that were made from porcupine quills and a dropper.
I wouldn't do that. I'd drink whiskey and roll cigarettes!
