Thanks for the ping, I just watched the sub-14 run it's so cool! I couldn't really identify the new strats you're talking about though, I guess I could find those info on the discord server?

First, you should keep "J" pressed when you want to get your health back. But you need to start pressing the key at the right moment. For instance, at 7:02, I don't get the right timing and you can see that I keep loosing health. So I release the key to catch the right moment in the next step. I would say this moment is somewhere around a few tenth of a second after you loose health.
If you're talking about the octopus fight, all you need to do is keep the J key pressed in order to jump periodically and recover your health. The problem is, there is some synchronization involved as the octopus seems to attack with the same period. My advice is to simply try again if you keep losing health instead of recovering it, showing that the synchronization is off.
I finish the game an i don't know how to have the first house key ... Did anyone know how to have it ? I really want to know what is inside this house...
you jump by getting the pogo stick by clicking on the * in the mountains. you can jump higher with the desert bird feather. Get the desert bird feather by killing desert birds (in the desert OF COURSE). You can kill them by getting to their height and hitting them with your weapon (hard way) or waiting for a fireball from red enchanted gloves to hit him. (easy way)

you need the desert bird feather from the birds in the desert (you should get it early in game so kill it with the red enchanted gloves)
