Grant Holloway is a horse.. this Cat ran under 13:00 in the hurdles ran on a record breaking 4X100 and ran a 43 on a 4X400 to get second and run one of the fastest recorded times for college.. he cut everyone a break but not doing the long jump... he is a track and field coaches cheat code
@@gavinscott10 I would be very curious if he took a shot at the open 400m to me he could give Norman nightmares if he did.He caught my attention as a FROSH running 44.1 on the 4x4
Apostle Kelly Dixon ran out of gas in the 800m in the homestretch he has one more time. What was his split on the 4x4 they nearly took down USC's mark from last season.Last year he caught my attention obviously running that 44.1 relay split chasing Norman and company.I would like to see Dixon try to take a shot at a HISTORIC 400/800 DOUBLE NO ONE HAS EVER ATTEMPTED THIS IN NCAA HISTORY
Not sure of his split but I’m used to him running out front in the 800 and winning. Of coarse, I always enjoy watching him anchor the 4x400. The U.S 4x400 team at the Olympics will be mind boggling. Especially with Norman and Benjamin in the mix.
Not really. His 45.2 is just not fast enough. Everyone in that 400m final have PBs a lot faster. Both Montgomery and Stewart who went 1 and 2 in the final at this meet have PRs of 44.2 which is a full second faster, in fact all but two of the finalist in the 400m at this meet are sub 45 sec runners. Although his 400 is very fast for an 800 guy, He is nowhere near quick enough to win the 400m final. It in fact the winning time for the past 4 years has all been under 45 seconds.
@@dwightlove3704 True dat, like I said, he extended the lead and kept the hammer down BUT Holloway ran a 43.75 anchor and brought his team back from oblivion to 2nd place. To me, that was as equally phenomenal as what Robert Grant did with his team.
@@dwightlove3704 Don't sleep on Holloway. He is a beast in the long jump, 60mh, 110m hurdles, 400mH, 60m, 100, 200 and 400m races. He can do it all and very impressively. Also, dude dominated in HS football as a WR and DB, but decided to play it safe w track and focus on becoming an Olympian.
Gavin Scott I know about his football career he gave it up for a shot at the Olympics as you said.I think that he is the second coming of Track&Field legend Renaldo Nehemiah.Holloway caught my attention as a frosh when he ran a 44.1 split on the 4x4

Grant Holloway is one of a kind, a true team player with lots of heart and lots of talent. Looking forward to seeing him in tokyo
He's a beast. That final leg was amazing.

Grant holloway is a monster, he is a threat in every sprint event, some people forget he was the national champion at 60m indoors
@@tobiasfunke6351 What would he do if he concentrated on the OPEN 400 I think that he could scare the life out of Michael Norman!!!!!!!
He could probably destroy the 400m hurdles record, if he tried also.

Felt like obi should have waited till the straight to turn it up
I was thinking the same thing... He kicked it in way too soon
he should've just sat on his shoulder when he got to the 200m instead of trying to pass him on the curve, then turned it back on at the 120m mark
I felt like I was going to die watching the OBI chase down Dixon 😂😂, I felt the demand
🔥🔥🔥🔥💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿Holloway a champ though, that finish was tough. Not good enough for first but tough and got 2nd from 4th
Holloway would have had to run a 42.XX split to get first... he did what he had to do 🤝🔥
dude thought Houston was Arkansas for the whole race
Jacob Kao on god I had to reread the uniform and make sure I wasn’t trippin
Jacob Kao and bc of that he said Woodhall wasn’t the second leg for razorbacks even the he clearly was smh
Dude confusing athletes all day long. That girl Jill Montgomerie is a hell of a commentator. The rest is trash. Smh
I'm not sure he can see like we see it
@@hazelnutspred3348 you're right. He sees it better. He's a the damn stadium 😂
Huge Devin Dixon fan, period. My man Grant Holloway got it in too!

That Florida anchor is insane
Praben Yes Grant Holloway is good enough to be a anchor in the Olympics.
Gavin Scott Watch out for North Carolina A&T next summer in the 4x4 that 3:01.50 they ran will be under attack.
Houston’s anchor pushed to early, if he would’ve waited til the straight it could’ve been a different outcome
Robert Grant ran the best leg, overall!
It wasn't the fastest split BUT he was the difference up front.

What was Holloway's split 43.75? Man that guy is fast.
Missing up Houston almost the whole time
Is winning NCAA's tougher than winning an open continental championship? I think so, barring a few events.
Grant Holloway....best collegiate track athlete ever??

I’m surprise Iowa do well
Tobie Thompson Iowa is no joke ppl will be watching for them indoors.
Hell of a race.
Jesus look at Holloway. Imagine that coming at you after you've talked some shit.
Why cant he just run through the finish and go for the record
the funny thing is that this isn't even the longest grant has run, he's been competitive even up to the 500m all the way down to the 60m
DAMN!!!!
