    Watch out for bears. Huckleberry is their favorite food.

    I've never had a huckleberry. I'm from the Eastern part of the USA near Washington DC, and I haven't seen a bush around this area either or at our farmers markets. They are a beautiful color though. 🫐 I'll have to try them! Oregon looks gorgeous.

    visiting seattle, on a daytrip to mt rainier, found two lone huckleberries on a heavily used trail on mt. rainier, and I was very happy.
