Hi Fresh. Another great and informative review. For Valorant, would you choose the Arete over the Tea Pro? And both of these would be better than SM4 or Splendor 2 (specifically for only Valorant)? Thanks.
Better than the supermix. The splendor 2 is quite good. The Arete has more of a cleaner profile and clarity within the space. The tea pro is very good. Between the different tiers they’re quite close and you can always choose based on your tuning profile preference.
Hello i like you videos and explanations. I would like to know which of this 3 you think is the best for call of duty( for imaging, soundstage and mainly footsteps) - xenns tea pro, xenns top or Yanying Canon 2. ???

Wooohoooo, GO XENNS! I'm all for a more affordable iem that rivals the Xenns Top. Thanks for the review Freshy. Although I'm still saving for your collab iem brother. Woof!🐶
Thanks for the video! Have you considered any of the Fir Audio IEMs for review like the xenon or krypton? They're very expensive (like the 64audio Volur you like) but I'm curious what you'd think of the technologies they're using. Thanks!
@Fresh Reviews Thanks for the review of the Pro. However, I have a request. Do you know when you can get your hands on the Aune AR5000? I am hearing that it is better than the HD 490 Pro Plus in Call of Duty. At a cheaper price point.
Hi fresh. I was going to buy tea pro but i found second hand xenns top around 360 dolars. And also i was considering buying hype 4. Which one do you recommend most? For gaming and music ofc.
I bought a new cable for this coz as you said the one it comes with isn’t the greatest so I got a higher quality cable. Got the EPZ DP13 and all i can say is. OMG! It has made the sound even more! Better.. I think it may have bumped up more on your tier ranking when you get a better cable for it. If you have time give it a try and see what you think with a better cable. Thanks for the reviews to. Keep it up!
Do 3.5mm to 4.4mm or 3.5mm to 6.3mm adapters affect the sound quality? Is it better to buy a cable or is it ok to use an adapter? I have a zen dac v2 and I’m currently trying balance with a 4.4mm adapter. Idk which is better between the unbalance and balance but I also don’t know about the adapter. Because I heard when using an adapter you don’t actually get balanced or unbalanced. I’m just wondering what’s the best to use for competitive gaming. Sorry for the rant lol. Thank you so much and I love your content!!!! Keep up the amazing work!!!!
It depends on the device. Some devices are much cleaner on balanced outputs. Sometimes you won’t hear any difference at all. All depends on what you’re using tbh!
@@FreshReviewsYTso it’s cleaner using a cable instead of a adapter? I’m currently using the kiwi orchestra lite paired with a zen dac v2. But I’m thinking about upgrading to the Mangird Tea Pro ones. But I just want to make sure I’m getting the full potential of my iems. Am I getting full potential?
I have the Tea 2 and they are my daily driver for music. Gaming has always been speakers for me (studio monitors) but for music, the Tea 2 is a great all rounder. Looking forward to checking out the Tea Pro.
Hey do you know the nozzles ring width? The widest part of the nozzle I mean. I have narrow cannals (use S eartips) so I'm a bit worried. Also I've seen some comments about vocals not being as clear as some other iems, how would you rate the vocals (especially female ones)? Also are you planning to try Aful P5+2? Thank you
Now i'm on a tight budget because of all of my upgrade because of this channel lol. So, what do you think is a good upgrade from SuperMix 4? Arete or Xenns Top/Tea Pro? while also keeping in mind that I like to listen to acoustic to pop to rock music.
Personally I went from the Supermix 4 to the 61T, waiting for the new pair to arrive. Didn't like the treble on the Supermix 4 but if you like that then you might like the TOP which also offers more mid bass tune vs the supermix while being similar in the treble. Would have tried the Arete but couldn't wait out the pre-order period.
If you want something that sounds and feels a bit airy with punchy bass the Arete is fire. The tea pro feels a bit warmer and immersive. You’ll notice it almost immediately a and b testing the two. If you like more sub bass the tea pro is an option. All three of those IEMs though are solid upgrades. The Arete is very close to the other two so keep budget in mind
@@FreshReviewsYT thanks for the great insight man! To be honest, it made me harder to decide. I want it also to be immersive (Tea Pro) but with more punch to the bass and a bit airy (Arete) lol. I think i'll give Arete a try.
Interesting, I haven’t thought of condensation in the shell, but no I wouldn’t have much concern especially if stored properly. Same ranking as the top for gaming
I switched my source from schiit stack to smsl c200 and adjusted 3d audio and the tops sound better now. The mids and upper mids no longer sound annoying. Not sure if my ears just adjusted but I think it’s to do with the schiit stack.
Oh man. i think its time for me to upgrade from the raptgo hook x. The fit of the hook x isnt great for me i much prefer the fit of ziigaat nuo how does the fit of this compare to the nuo?
Thanks for the video! I currently have the Logitech G PRO headset, and I'm looking to buy IEMs for the first time, playing fps games. I'm debating between the Truthear Crinacle Zero Blue OG and the SIMGOT EW200. I'm concerned that the Blue OG might cause fit issues, and comfort is important to me. Should I go for the EW200 if my budget is around $60-$70? Also, for the DAC, I have the Logitech DAC that came with the headset. Is it good enough, or should I switch to the Apple Type-C dongle? Thanks!
i pulled them up to buy them but they wont be here until december? any cords or tips you would recommend .... 30 mins later i waited a few then went to buy them now amazon says they are unavailable
I know you review for competitive fps gaming, but what do you think for single player story games? I'm not interested in the best iem's for fps but I want the best for story games so I can have the best experience. Do you think that these are good for that and/or better ones than this?
I always love the reviews that you give because you also give the reviews in terms of gaming so thank you. I currently have the truthear x crin zero and looking for an upgrade. May I know if it is worth the upgrade and is the size larger or smaller that truthear? I am contemplating if I should wait longer for another IEM to come my way or should I upgrade to Mangrid Tea Pro? P.S. Do you have any suggestions for a portable dac amp or its better to get a proper amp/dac?
Better to get a proper amp dac but some portable ones are fine. Depends what you want really. The tea pro is a solid upgrade and should be more ergonomic than the zero
I mainly play warzone and valorant so I’m torn between these and the Areta. Which dac/amp in the range of $150-250 would you recommend for these iems? Thanks!
Do you think it's worth it enough to get a tea pro even if I already have a hype 4? I do enjoy hype 4 and wonder if tea pro is a solid upgrade (Upgrade worth $360).
Probably not. Both are very good. While I do think the tea pro has benefits in game, you’re sitting pretty comfortable at the hype 4. Because I min max I go for the best but if money is tight do not upgrade
So I ordered these after watching this review and just got them in from linsoul. Xenns fucking cooked with these. Like holy shit. On the fence? Just swipe, you won't regret.
Hmm and another dilemma 😅 Will repeat my self, im running Splendor 2 and Arete as you know for warzone, but i would like add some more flavours to my gaming. Wich IEM will get closest possible to those two above but not a bassy tuning. Wich one you would recommend for warzone ( something for no bass head)😊
Thoughts on the Mangird Tea Pros vs the MOONDROP x Crinacle DUSK? I'm stuck between these 2 for primarily Valorant and some casual music and show watching. Thanks man.
Good IEM at the 'budget' end you may want to try that's missed a lot of people - Fiio JH5. Should be similar to EM6L/Supermix 4, if not better. Arrti T10 is supposedly very, very good too. Note - I also had an issue with my Arete you may want to bring up with Ziigaat - the glue holding the filter in place melts, the vent falls off and the glue blocks the audio tubes, effectively killing the IEM. As good as these reviews are, you are starting to consistently stay WELL above the price ranges of most gamers, especially competitive gamers who are often still in their mid-late teens. Some budget roundups every once in a while would be a good idea, though I can appreciate how much time properly reviewing IEMs in games can be.
Good point and I find I agree. When I talk to gamer friends about audio upgrades, the vast majority want something 30-100 USD. Some people are willing to stretch it to $150, but not many. That leaves out a lot of these products. Fresh, I think you could pick up an even bigger audience by trying to find the very best in this price range.
@@ramennov XD hey man long time hope all is well! btw if you were interested in these, I recommend them they are a great set after using them for a bit
I just ordered the Letshuoer S12 2024 Edition after your previous video. Your rating is one grade higher for these do you find the $160 difference to be worth it?
Hey Fresh! I've been watching (and loving) your videos for a few months now, off of a recommendation from SimplyMatthias, and i was wondering if you could help me to choose my next pair of IEMs. Based off of your simgot showdown video, I'm likely going to be choosing the Supermix 4, as my primary games are R6, and Escape from Tarkov. However, there are a few things i would love some clarification on first. I am currently using the Truthear Zero's (Blue), and while i love the audio on them, the nozzle is a bit wide for my ear and causes a bit of pain for me, and i just wanted to make sure i will not have that issue with the Supermix 4, as i have not been able to get an exact nozzle size for them online. The other big thing is that i will not just be using the IEMs for gaming, i will also be using them for general media consumption, especially with music, and i wanted your opinion on how the tune sounds for general media, not just gaming. Thank you for your help!
@@ExotixZeneo The SM4 will be a giant improvement although it is a different tuning than what you have. The SM4 is very neutral and the ones you have are more treble and bass emphasized. What kinds of music do you enjoy?
what do you think is the best iem under 80€ for playing games? i’m trying to find something that won’t make me poor but that gives me good audio quality and great directional sound, if you’ll reply thx in advance
@@FreshReviewsYT are they good for the price or you would buy something else for that price, and sorry for asking you this question i don’t really understand much about this things🤧
I'm a bit confused. I have the blessing 3 (2DD+4Ba). This mangird tea pro adds two more balanced armatures. Are there sonic differences? They have more or less similar prices.
Yes, the number of drivers will never be the tell sign of whether something is good or bad or the same. Number of drivers doesn’t mean much of anything really. It’s really just the performance of the drivers and tuning.
It’s a safe call that you should pick the tuning you like between the two. This is more warm from what I remember of the top. Both right on par. If you want to save $ def go tea pro
I have a quick question. Are the sennheiser hd600’s as good as iems for fps games. Like is the directional and depth perception as good or are iems still better than that?
artiswarntune sounds like next level almost cheating/cjeating. tldw. tricks game into thinking you are using 7.1 sureound sound. game pipes audio cues like self gun shots to front speakers. use software to lower just self gun shooting
How do do you like them against the tea mk2, and hype 4. I know that you focus on gaming, but I’m mostly into music, yet not many people have them so I wanted to ask anyway
little late and I'm not Fresh xD, but I like the techs on the tea pro a little more than the hype 4, rumble is a little more present on the hype 4 but nothing deal breaking, you will notice the reduced energy in the treble vs the hype 4's
How does your ranking system account for tier differences? as in the two Xenns IEMs top the midrange list with A rankings, are they on the same-ish level as the A ranked on the high-end list?
Good question. I would not personally. I do hear the rogue stuff is a bit better than the goxlr. The problem with a mixer is it just isn't designed solely as an Amp Dac, the internals of most things are just better, even like the topping DX3 Pro+
@@FreshReviewsYT ah ok. Coz some people have been telling me to get a goxlr coz I have a dual pc. and I feel like it won’t give me the best sound. I’ll have to check rogue out. Would you say Fiio k9 akm is a good choice?
I went from a GoXLR Mini to a Gen 4 Scarlett 2i2 and it made a pretty big noticeable difference in bass emphasis and there is zero background hiss which I personally had with the GoXLR. There’s other solid interfaces to like the SSL2 if you need the XLR input but that topping is a great DAC.

Wooohoooo, GO XENNS! I'm all for a more affordable iem that rivals the Xenns Top. Thanks for the review Freshy. Although I'm still saving for your collab iem brother. Woof!🐶
Right on!
Thanks for the video! Have you considered any of the Fir Audio IEMs for review like the xenon or krypton? They're very expensive (like the 64audio Volur you like) but I'm curious what you'd think of the technologies they're using. Thanks!
I’ll have to take a look
@Fresh Reviews
Thanks for the review of the Pro. However, I have a request. Do you know when you can get your hands on the Aune AR5000? I am hearing that it is better than the HD 490 Pro Plus in Call of Duty. At a cheaper price point.
Where did u hear that? 🤥
Hi fresh. I was going to buy tea pro but i found second hand xenns top around 360 dolars. And also i was considering buying hype 4. Which one do you recommend most? For gaming and music ofc.
Still the top
@ I thought that you were going to say tea pro is better than top. Okey than i’m buying top.
Keep it up!
I use a Tripowin Zonie. Might get this. You use the 2.5, 3.5, 4.4?
Whats the best cable if price not matter
@@williambrown302 I’m using the 2.5 at the moment
@@princekittipon6510 not to sure. If you have a look in linsoul they have quality ones on there
Do 3.5mm to 4.4mm or 3.5mm to 6.3mm adapters affect the sound quality?
One won’t increase gaming performance over the other though. But cleaner power = better
Love the shell!
61T next? 🙏
Will take a look
How do these stack against the Moondrop Blessing 3? Mostly for Valorant?
I have the Tea 2 and they are my daily driver for music. Gaming has always been speakers for me (studio monitors) but for music, the Tea 2 is a great all rounder. Looking forward to checking out the Tea Pro.
Hi,do u have Tea Pro?I' m wondering for valorant are tea 2 as good as Tea Pro
@@haochen-b5m no, just tea 2 and I'm not a Valorant player sorry.
@@DavidHorth oh,thanks.Do you play other FPS games? You know, the Performance in footsteps are often the same.
Love the videos! Trying to get my first IEM. Do you recommend the Simgot EM10 for CS2 or these pairs?
Haven’t tried these in cs2. But generally the tea is better than the em10 in the three titles I tested
@@FreshReviewsYT thank you for the reply ❤️
will you review the estrella?
Do you think which one would be better for gaming? Xenns Top or Tea Pros?
I still have the top above. But focus on your budget
How do these compare to the Xenns Top? Worth the extra money for the Top?
Really depends on your tuning preferences at that point
Which IEM do you recommend more, the Xenns Tea Pro or the Yanyin Canon II?
I recommend both almost equally with the slight edge to the tea pro
Even though Xenns Top is more expensive, how does Tea Pro compare to that?
Plus any condensation fear in this metal shell?
Interesting, I haven’t thought of condensation in the shell, but no I wouldn’t have much concern especially if stored properly. Same ranking as the top for gaming
I switched my source from schiit stack to smsl c200 and adjusted 3d audio and the tops sound better now. The mids and upper mids no longer sound annoying. Not sure if my ears just adjusted but I think it’s to do with the schiit stack.
I didn’t like any of my schiit amps
@@FreshReviewsYT Same will never buy from them again.
Got a recommendation for aftermarket cable for these?
Great review. In your opinion Xenns Mangird Tea Pro vs Yanyin Canon 2 whicjh one do you prefer for music (i own the arete)? Thank you in advance.
Id probably go tea pro. Both are good compliments to the Arete though
Thank you for your help.
Oh man. i think its time for me to upgrade from the raptgo hook x. The fit of the hook x isnt great for me i much prefer the fit of ziigaat nuo how does the fit of this compare to the nuo?
It will be larger and heavier than the nuo, but the ergonomics on this unit are 🔥
Any plans on reviewing the SMSL RAW MDA1? Looks like a better DX3 pro and c200
Between the xenns top and kiwi Ears orquestral lite performance which one you would pick for warzone and why? Thanks.
I’d go in between the two with the tea pro

what eartips are you using for them (or used)
Thanks for the video! Thanks!
Ew200
Would be a good first IEM or the letshuoer s08
What would you say is the best open back IEM right now? Will be paired with SMSL DO300
I don’t know of any true open back IEMs

I know you review for competitive fps gaming, but what do you think for single player story games? I'm not interested in the best iem's for fps but I want the best for story games so I can have the best experience. Do you think that these are good for that and/or better ones than this?
Always better out there but yes these will sound exceptional for that as well
Hey Fresh ! HD 490 Pro better than DT1770 pro for gaming? what do you think :D Thank you
For sure
@@FreshReviewsYT Thank u very much :) i bought the C200 too! Do you think it will Work well together ?
@@FreshReviewsYT Alright! Thank you so much, Fresh!
I mainly play warzone and valorant so I’m torn between these and the Areta. Which dac/amp in the range of $150-250 would you recommend for these iems? Thanks!
I enjoy the topping dx3 pro+. I’ve also used the SMSL c200 which was great but I think they since have some newer models
@@FreshReviewsYT thanks and appreciate the quick response!

Hmm and another dilemma 😅
Will repeat my self, im running Splendor 2 and Arete as you know for warzone, but i would like add some more flavours to my gaming.
Wich IEM will get closest possible to those two above but not a bassy tuning. Wich one you would recommend for warzone ( something for no bass head)😊

Tea pro for gaming
@@FreshReviewsYT And the Dusk would be a better option for music and shows?
Question, for COD, which of these two are you reaching for?
Supermix 4 or Hype 4?
as someone who owned both, hype 4 (this was in multiplayer)
Are these worth looking into for gaming-related purposes if one already owns the Hype 4.
I think so
Good IEM at the 'budget' end you may want to try that's missed a lot of people - Fiio JH5.
@@jesh879anything in that range, you can just look at the budget or b tier options. They mostly fall in that range
Out of these, Hype 4, and Oracle mkiii; which has better/more extended midbass between 150-300hz?

Should be ok. Smaller than the zero
@@FreshReviewsYT Cool, thank you! How do they sound for music and general media?

Yes, the number of drivers will never be the tell sign of whether something is good or bad or the same. Number of drivers doesn’t mean much of anything really. It’s really just the performance of the drivers and tuning.
