Alright, first off my deepest apologies to @BlindWaveProd & @blindwaveriders for this extreme delay on finishing this interview. 4 parts but they are all essentially done. I'm going through the final QA checks & will upload all in the next 2-3 weeks.
One of the reasons that I've always loved Blind Wave is the fact that they take notes during a reaction video. It's such a little thing, but to me it means a lot.
@@Akasan I watch a lot of their reactions, but their reactions to Star Wars videos remain my favorites of theirs. And not just their reactions to trailers for SW movies, but their reactions to episodes of SW Rebels & now The Clone Wars. I can't wait to start watching along with them when the new episodes of The Clone Wars come out & The Mandalorian & other SW shows on Disney Plus. By the way - you need to watch The Clone Wars some day. If anything, follow along with Blind Wave & watch the reaction videos they've been doing of the episodes. It will give you a good idea about the series itself & how amazing it was. So many of can not wait for the final season to start in February. I'm actually looking more forward to that than I am seeing TROS right now believe it or not. That's how good it is. And Rebels was amazing too. Like crazy amazing. Some of the best story telling in all of Star Wars has happened in both Rebels & The Clone Wars. Dave Filoni is the person behind Rebels & The Clone Wars. He's who I've been saying should be the "Kevin Fegie" of Star Wars for a while. They don't have that at Lucasfilm & they need it desperately. The movies just don't feel connected to the rest of the SW Universe like Marvel is. And here's the thing, I'm not saying that because Marvel does it, I'm saying it because when it was announced that Disney was taking over SW in 2012 & they also announced what was going to be canon & what was not, the promised that all that was canon would be connected & feel connected. The Sequel Trilogy has failed to do that big time. I have a feeling that TROS will correct that - it better - but still. Having someone who knows & loves SW in that seat like KF is for Marvel would make SW unstoppable.
Lmao Eric at the beginning 😂 Been looking forward to this man Thanks👊👍 Yup I can name a few Famous people that have seen comment on vids lol Chloe Bennett and from Punisher season 2 Bartender Ringoo and heard Stephen Amell probably more that i don't know about but that says volume's on how Epic! Blind Wave is😂👊👍
Normies try? Funny. :D The best thing about watching Blind Wave is that each person is such a character, like each reaction video reveals something about each. I guess it's the rapport with each other. They're real with each other.
I love Blindwave and I love Akasan! I’ve been a fan for years I wish you all the success you deserve and hope that you will be able to do what you really want to do. Many many years of success!
Great interview! Good bunch of guys. Any creative who struggles to find their voice and build a life doing they love can appreciate their journey! Cheers!
Sure, a cooking show isn't an original idea. Nor is a podcast. Nor is having a meet-up of your fans. Nor is doing unboxing videos. Nor is having a Patreon. Nor is doing video game videos. Nor is doing boardgames. But with The Normies however, I think they are ''influenced'' a bit too much by Blindwave. Blindwave does cooking with Blindwave, a while later Normies begin their cooking show. Nothing crazy about that, cooking shows aren't copyright protected. But they've followed Blindwave also in a lot of things. They even don't try to sound different. Blindwave names their fan meet-up ''Wavecon''. Normies name their fan meet-up ''Normiecon''. Also in this case, the word ''con'' isn't original by any means. But it is kinda obvious that they are just following Blindwave. I know Eric is friendly with The Normies and all ''they aren't copying us because those are general things we didn't invent.'' But it's pretty obvious they are just parroting Blindwave. If Blindwave started doing make-up tutorials you'd also suddenly see The Normies doing them. It's like when movie studios know their competitors are making a moon landing movie and you suddenly see 2 moonlanding movies release close to each other. The ''original'' one is better while the trailing movie studio quickly releases a badly produced one. This happens a lot when you see similar movies being released close to each other. Blindwave is just far too nice. Because it's really obvious what The Normies are doing. There's also a big difference that the Normies will never make up for. Blindwave seems to be way more serious about the things they do while the Normies seem super lazy. They've made so much mistakes I've never seen happen on Blindwave. They can't even make a good schedule for the way they film their reactions. It's probably a mess behind the scenes of The Normies.
Blindwave is what happens when you got positivity on your channel, aren't a fake fuck and don't grow your channel on toxic opinions. A lot of channels out there can learn from them. I know of this channel where the people on it are toxic AF and have a huge toxic part of their fanbase because of that. They always whine about haters while they are the ones that did it to themselves by being so toxic.
I mean, that's really the thing with the "will we still be doing this 20 years from now?" It's always something you will think about, but if it's something you're actually happy doing it, it's so worth it! There's so many people out there with "real jobs" and they're so miserable. Like, we could be dead at any minute. Any of us. That's a fact. And.. were we happy doing what we're doing? I think that's the thing..

Yup. It’s a good technique I learned from them!! Especially for long shows like The Flash or Anime.

With my setup It's impossible to take notes since I write too slow, so I'd miss essential information
Lol I’m a WaveRider, Normie, and I’m part of the Red Dreaded Nation. I got love for all 3 channels
I love Akasan and Blindwave❤
my favorite reaction channels are always the ones that react to something and then proceed to discuss and talk about what they reacted to.
Alright! Love this interviews, I like the questions you asked them, it pulls back the curtain a bit and shows us how the stuff really gets done.
I thought it would be good to know.
This was awesome I love both your channels can’t wait for part 3!

I feel more genuineness from blind wave than normies.
That opening.
Made me "lol" with the intro edit. Not an easy feat ;p
Sweet

Ok.
Man, are you kidding me, you ended the video with a cliffhanger? I hate you man ( I don't) 🤣
why dont just saparate the interview and the wave cave tour in two different video?
Coz it’s a good transition between questions
Bro blindwave tv is small asf wth how can they see from that far ?
Lol. I was straining a bit myself. And the volume is fairly low.
Yeah they made Kylo Ren the awakening.
So sad watching this now knowing Shane has to start all over bc he’s not part of Blindwave anymore 😢
Why does he have to start all over?
@@Akasan because it seems he left on shakey terms, i mean he is an og
Quitting youtube?
Just if they’ve ever thought about it
Chloe Bennett
I just started. But In the time it took for you to get this done, the Normies overtook BlindWave on patreon. So that callback joke fell flat for me.
Erik’s a ginger??? bro what?
No he's blonde. It just looks that way sometimes on camera.
