So true. I have been speed reading for years. I have been learning programming languages for now over a month. On my lazy day, last Sunday, I read roughly 50 pages from one book, 20 from another book, etc. I learned jargons of computer science, those such as data structure.
I don't bother reading with fingers. Instead, I move my eyes in zigzag pattern while reading, rather than in linear pattern. That is my technique.
I must try your software, as soon as I get my passport renewed so to renew my prepaid card.

Hi Paul. I'm glad you shared your experience because my situation is very similar to yours. I am a native born of the U.S. but English was not my first language. I've always had a lie reading level and comprehension. I didn't start making improvements with reading until college. I'm really looking forward to improving my reading comprehension and reading speed also.

Alastair Jack I watch all my videos in 2x speed because normal speaking speed is far to slow and people sometimes tell me to slow down when talking so it has its disadvantages.

Slow reading is less stressful and better for visualisation.

You should have used a neutral article on the Accelareader - sadist scientists are not what I want to read about.

Amazing informative videos. However, this guys talks so much that it fills the video time with almost 50% unsubstantial content. I appreciate the sorties behind an explanation, side notes and details and comments. But is hard to keep the attention and frustration of fast fwd with out missing a small important point. I'm sure this video can be cut down to a 20 minute one max. Just feedback for better future videos.
