Indeed, this can't work properly, the chip can't do high frequencies and the output filter is completely wrong. And why would you make a 300 watts digital amplifier for a 5 watt speaker. And no speaker protection. I have a lot of the A-Exprss 1kw digital amplifiers and i have to say it sounds as good as my PA's not bad and tested it for 1500 watts a piece and still no problems. I build 12 from them in a box and 8 1500watt power supplies plus and minus 90 volts. Now i don't need to take all 6 2400 watts amplifiers with me and that's great while those weight 6x35 kg and my own made one only weights 30kg ☺️
@@albertjansen5996 The problem with PWM amplifiers are the very harsh clipping if the input is overdriven. You should not modulate to more than 99%, and that is very hard to control with music input. Besides the output filtering problems ... The circuit shown has one BIG advantage though: It is easy to adjust for a set frequency of 50/60HZ sinevawe using it for a pure sine mains converter, provided the circuit is modified for the required voltage.

I don't think so. The IR2153 is just a mosfet driver. The analog to digital conversion happen in the op-amp in this circuit. The SG3525 is a PWM controller. You might be able to make something work with the SB3525, but it's definitely not a direct drop in replacement.

I've tried this class d amplifier circuit, it works but there is a hissing noise and the distortion in the bass sound is quite large, so I don't recommend this amplifier I'm from Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia
We did not notice any problems of this kind. This device is surprisingly reliable, during the tests I incorrectly connected the polarity several times and nothing happened to it.

Did you ever try to bump up the supply voltage?, Maybe that distortion in the bass frequency because of the voltage drop across supply voltage

I would say have a load connected at all times. The inductive kick from an unloaded inductor can get pretty bad.
