Hey! of course I can. Everything that has to do with Graham, Cunningham, Limon and Horton principles I consider as modern dance (everything that happened before 1950/codified dance techniques). Everything that has to do with floorwork, release techniek, fly-ing low and uncodified dance technies based on contemporary/ modern movement I consider as contemporary dance. Briefly: Modern = based on forms and codified principles (fall/recovery and so on). Contemporary = based on uncodified/ more free ways to move or less about esthetics and more about efficiency.
