10:02 its not really mentioned in the video, but its already kinda implied anyway since you always want to dash with ayaka before casting your burst to snapshot the cryo bonus.
For mistsplitter havers, your combo is also different from what is shown here.

The video you posted before this one was about how cryo is a bad element. Now you try to convince me cryo is good.
I think you misunderstand something. This video is for those who want to build cryo anyways regardless of its position in the meta. The job of our guides is to teach to play characters in the most optimal way, not to convince somebody on the fence to play her or not. For that our prior video is made for. When you watch this guide you should have already made up your mind. ~ Foxfire
Cryo is not bad, it's just that it fell off after dendro. There is only one bad element in Genshin.

@@qwertysysysyysysysyzz in terms of flex options, I’d prefer geo over cryo at least. Outside of noelle(Furina), yunjin(generally not optimal but good enough) zhongli and albedo though they never getting slotted lmao. Cryo I basically never use outside superconduct and freeze which are pretty in element so they never getting the flex slot.

I think Haran is a nice weapen for her, crit rate still really good because it's can help with consistency in abisses where we don't have full crowd control sides.
Meanwhile I've been running Harbinger of Dawn on her since her release. As a f2p option it felt ok. Sure it has a low base attack, but it still grants a good 102.9 crit value, which feels nice.
I'd never considered Finale of the Deep because the Bond of Life effect felt uncomfy.

Don't know for sure but I think you can get 12 seconds out of ayaka's c4 since 6 seconds should trigger on every hit of her burst. So her entire burst plus 6 seconds from the last hit.

As an Ayaka main myself, I'd say you did a pretty good job here, but I think you'd also laugh at me for using Ayaka, Ganyu, Mona, and Sayu as my team comp ;3

Hey im new like level 12 and got her any tips for starting?
Ayaka has a lot of team options but I tend to always play the same ones and my fav mono cryo team with her is : Ayaka, Qiqi (Clam set), Shenhe, Layla. Super comfy and tanky play with ult on tap. For variations like freeze I prefer Kokomi (or now Furina) and Kazuha. Xiangling is good in there too for melts. Otherwise for weapons, I have my main account with Ayaka in the Mistsplitter, and another (BP only) account where she's using R5 Black Sword and it's honestly really good on her. Ayaka is one of my most played characters, she's really well rounded and has decent cheap or ftp options.

Ayaka is my favorite character, she is built quite well and was the character I farmed the most for ever, I have no idea how much time i lost in the blizzard domain.
the fact is that despite that I can't reach more than 120% Energy Recharge and have good substats at the same time.
120% is really low and I realized that, but honestly to waste who knows how much more time trying to finally reach the goal, I don't feel like it anymore.
This is really frustrating.

I've been running Ayaya in a burning melt team lately. It consists of Nahida, Dehya and Qiqi. I don't have Shenhe. It's pretty fun.

I've been trying to get mist for 3 times now and it always gives me the other weapons. This time no difference. Weapon banner is such a scam. Now it looks like i have to get a job to make my Ayaka better😢
Worth noting I guess that Shenhe is probably coming in 4.4, so that's good for whales interested in Ayaka (I guess) and bad for light spenders or F2Ps. Anyone who wants to "buy in" to Ayaka but lacks the actual credit card for the buying part may have trouble assembling an Ayaka team if they didn't already have most of its parts.
Just use Ayaka,Charlote, Kazuha and Furina. Shenhe is a waste of gems for f2p, even more now with Furina.

as an ayaka main from the old days this is a good refresher as i just came back to play for a long time.. i have a question though and its regarding the ATK stat as you have said its pretty important and as i was watching other videos especially with furina now they also have the same opinion of having the ATK as a high priority over the crits.. so is it practically good to replace my high tier goblet artf of cryo dmg bonus over with the atk%.. both cryo dmg and atk% goblet have very good substats with a slight difference of having the atk% goblet getting a little bit above of atk substat
no, keep Cryo Bonus%, you still need an elemental bonus goblet as it brings you to that point of perfect balance if that makes sense
like if you don't have it, then you will overcap on ATK%
@@Juice-chan thanks for the reply.. didnt realized there was a cap but i tried and yeah it came to like 3.1k atk still the dmg still kinda lacks but maybe because my furina and charlotte arent built yet so the supps may be the problem but still its kinda safe to assume that cryo dmg is still needed
I noticed you didn't mention Layla, she's actually a pretty good option if you're not wanting to pull on Shenhe and she provides shielding too
nah she's just as poor as diona if not even worse than diona since she can't battery, use charlotte if you want cryo sustain

@@mlbbgameplay5812 i think she's probably 2nd best. kaeya may have better battery potential but Rosaria does somewhat provide more damage and more stuff than kaeya.

When the full team gives him their buffs
He becomes

5.3k attack with widsith attack buff
4.7 with elemental bonus buff
those stats are really fantastic for amenoma

This is ironic I just cleared abyss with freeze Ayaka comp a few days ago after hearing cryo falling off and that it's not good anymore so it's not worth it safe to say I proved them wrong (despite it being true tbf)
of course with good investment you will clear which you proved yourself already even in modern Abyss were bosses are even more tanky compared to back then. But since dendro people are able to achieve similar results with more flexibility and ease. So a lot of people will just pick the easier option.
I know that her banner is coming soon, but i’m saving primogeniture for Raiden Shogun, however Ayaka’s best 5 star weapon is also gonna be on the weapon banner, and now your just giving me a very difficult choice, should i get her weapon and see maybe if i even get lucky enough to get the weapon, or just save my primos for Raiden Shogun
And before you ask what’s my pity for the banners, on the event banner it doesn’t show when i got the last 5 star (i think it was around fifty or something), and on the weapon banner i didn’t even summon on it once

definitely foliar haitham if you're only allowed to pick one, but if you want to invest in constellations down the line pick ayaka

If you use haran or jadecutter 2pc blizzard 2pc atk% or burst dmg are sometimes besser
using a CR weapon on ayaka = you can't have a single crit sub you need a TON of CD to compensate

Juice I've blackcliff r1 , haran r1 and amenoma r5 which one should give me the most benefits
Haran R1 :) but if you have a bunch of crit rate subs, then Haran isn't good anymore & you should use amenoma

1:40 this is actually incorrect most mistsplitter builds should have around 2200-2400ATK at most. Just getting to 2400ATK takes ten ATK% rolls on top of needing all your regular crit/ER rolls which is tough but do-able, but 2700 is out of the question. For reference I was only able to find 2 builds in the top 100 that had 2500+ ATK that still had 30ER. The only time Ayaya should have that much baseline ATK is if you're using an ATK goblet with R5 Mistsplitter, or if you pair her with Furina or both.
hmmm true, i did say 2.7k is on INSANE subs since i have seen it before
you need a literal perfect ayaka to achieve it, however
also note you can get away with 120-ish ER if you have a C1 shenhe or other sources of ER

barbara with R5 TTDS, but use Xingqiu as soon as you can, & upgrade to mona/kokomi/furina ASAP!

yes mistsplitter is a lot better, you can get much better stats with it

@@Juice-chan she has a full blizzard strayer. lvl60. Favonius sword lvl70. c0. talents ate all lvl 3 (except the unupgradeable ones) team is: ayaka, ayato, kuki, and xiangling.
im getting ayaka w/ mistsplitter but unfortunely dont have shenhe & kazuha so when they get their reruns i'll get them
for now i guess ayaka/kokomi/layla/venti haha
use rosaria instead of layla! you already have kokomi so you won't be lacking in sustain, & layla doesn't really do anythign. she can't battery ayaka that well
so use fav on rosa for great particle gen, with either 4PC Noblesse for ayaka buffing or 4PC EOSF for rosa's sub-DPS. if you really want a shielder, sac bow diona is better

So, I have 50/310 crit ratio on Ayaka. On her nuke setup, with benny and Shenhe, she does around 40k per tick on her burst. But in spiral abyss, the nuke setup isn't much practical. I use her on Mono cryo or freeze team, but her burst only deals 26k per tick, and I'm bad at setting up her burst so it's usually wasted too. Yesterday I decided to replace 2 of my blizzard artifact with gladiator, and for some reason, I'm doing more damage. 30k per burst tick and 25k per elemental skill. And I also decided to remove light of foilar in favour of Amenoma because I have no luck with ER rolls. And I don't wanna farm Blizzard domain again. What am I doing wrong here, my blizzard set is not providing results.(maybe my skill issues are at play here too😮)
You need to pay attention to the enemies you are facing. For example the Tulpa won't be affected by cryo because it is a hydro Monster. So you might crit as much.

Have ma girl at c0, 9-8-10 with mist splitter, sadly even with kazuha falls behind hyperbloom kuki, but already tops yae aggravate and xiao (im waiting on the cloud retainer SO HARD)
lol xiao only gets topped pre-c6 faruzan, after c6 faruzan even with 4 star weap he does more dmg than ayaka at that point

What if I use Skill -> Burst -> N2C instead?
as i said, this will be fine too, but then you waste some of the buff you get from her ascension passive thanks to the burst casting animation
if you want to skip your N2C & swap off immediately, then skill into burst works fine

Got Ayaka C6 today. With R3 Sig. Nowadays it feels like a necessity just to stay relevant. She does not feels like a nuke. Never seen more then 34k burst numbers. More like a downgraded c0 Novilett. At least, if you using her in classic team (Mona_diona_Sucrose). Barely handles abyss 12 on last seconds.

@@Juice-chan Thank you. Unfortunately, i have no idea how to use Discord, - convoluted chat with tens of channels. But i think i lied a bit. 12-1-1 i can not do at all with Ayaka within reasonable time (over 2 mins needed), 12-2-1 is possible but slow as well. And with Ayaka manages to do up to 30k with her ult ticks, main problem is grouping. Mobs simply ignoring Venti or Sucrose attempts to CC them, and vert often Ayaka have to kill them 1 by 1 on by 2. Do not think it can be helped. But thank you again. Control is the issue.

Haven’t you heard ayaka has fallen off: 60-100k ca’s and 400k+ bursts
ayaka can deal like 1 million DPS very fast, but a lot of other units can do even more in a short amount of time, ayaka's strong but not the strongest
after all you need so many 5*s to get to this point
@@Juice-chan I get heavy investment is required and the cryo argument (some what) but what other characters can output more (actual dps) over rotations constantly?

my friend: told me i HAVE TO pull ayaka bc she's so strong. me: doesn't like ayaka. can't pull her rotation off. doesn't have mistsplitter. nor shenhe. nor kazuha. now i have a very benched ayaka :) but hey after this video i at least KNOW why my ayaka sucks xD
as someone who's built their ayaka up from quite literally what the thumbnail says, i began on trashy 13-16k burst tics in an ayaka/ttds kokomi/venti/rosaria team with no other option
here's some references;
- F2P kage with no good buffers = very low barely abyss clearable 13-16k burst tics
- i got kazuha to replace venti = 21k burst tics
- i got ganyu to replace rosaria = 24k burst tics
- i got mistsplitter = 30k burst tics
- when i use mona = 30-40k burst tics, 40k unsustainable with TTDS
- when i got shenhe = 40-60k burst tics depending on buffs used, TTDS mona can push me a little higher
(shenhe got me to around 50k-ish burst tics but getting C2R1 bumped that into the 60's)
hope those reference points help, i recommend at LEAST a mistsplitter & kazuha for ayaka to be playable! 20k is the minimum burst tics you should be dealing :)
@@Juice-chan lel thanks :D yes all that is obvious from your video, my point being that i was talked into pulling her (in 2022 for reference) but they did not tell me (or realise) that i would ALSO need a mistsplitter, kazuha and shenhe to really get her going :D i played her with the 4* sword and mona-sucrose-diona because that was the best i had :)

Dionna being better than Charlotte for an ayaka freeze comp with furina? No, but she's slightly under Charlotte. Plus, unless furina is the only hydro applicator you have, you shouldn't be running furina with ayaka.
Dionna beating out shenhe? Ofc she can't. I never said she did. I said that dionna isn't a dps loss in ayaka freeze teams. Especially if you don't have kokomi to substitute Mona for.
Even if we go full on f2p, then dionna is the best choice in a freeze team as your healer and very good shielder.
Here's an example if you only have Barbara, sucrose, and dionna for your ayaka, then that team is very useable it will just take creativity and effort.
You only think that her dps is burst based because that's how you play her, but in actuality, she's a burst based dps. A true burst based dps could be classified as raiden (but I don't play her like that, so). And no, her teams don't center around her burst unless you make it that way.
Her burst and normals are equal in freeze teams, but if you wanna get technical with it, her passives obviously favor her normals more, and her constellations split it somewhat equally.
You are willingly focusing on her burst more because you want to, which is fine, but stop spreading that misconception.
See, after the furina video you made, I just let things be, but when it comes to certain characters and reactions (especially overload), I'm definitely gonna be watching very carefully since misinformation is spreading alot in the genshin community as of late and I ain't standing for it.
So stop with the misconceptions, please.

@justahumanh427 c4 buffs her whole kit while c1 makes her passive be active alot more and c2 and 3 buff her burst while c6 buffs her charged attks. If we take the mutual buffing constellation out of the picture, you can see that outside of c5, her constellations buff her normals and burst equally.

i'm lazy to find a suitable sword for ayaka so i just slapped her with primordial jade 😂 same crit stick, but gotta watch for the overcrit... i'm also planning on using xingqiu since his hydro application feels better than koko.. although koko would be good for a healer slot 🤔 unless i try to build another healer for the healer slot. but i'm gonna focus on ayaka for now
