Personally, having travelled both the 777 old cabin and the new cabin, as well as the a380 many times on Emirates, I feel like sometimes the old cabin is a letdown on the 777, but the new one truly is the game changer
I’ve flown with Emirates from Manchester (UK) to Dubai and onwards to other places in Asia, on both A380s and 777s. I think the A380 is a bit quieter, and it feels a bit more spacious, but in reality the amount of room for economy passengers on the lower deck is the same. (I think the A380 feels more spacious because the sides of the fuselage don’t curve in much on the lower deck.) More important is the fact that the facilities and service are exactly the same - same seats, same legroom (pretty much), same meals, same entertainment system and the same (excellent) standard of service. These similarities override any physical differences - in my opinion, of course.
What I like about the 777 is that there are two seats by the window at the back of the plane rather than three, so if you travel with a partner you can choose these and not have a third person with you. But the A380 is quieter and more comfortable generally.

A slightly shorter video this time! (We were pretty tired by this point in the trip...) Hope you enjoy :)

Agree. I think the air pressure and humidity is also better on the A380 than B777.

Glad to see you got the cream and jam on the right way! Great video.
Nice review. I really like Emirates, but it's a shame they don't have a drink service before the meal. They certainly feed you well, though.
Your reviews are realistic. Thanks very much.
