Kenju was never in the arcades. It was never officially released. It also wasn't on Dreamcast, but was ported to Dreamcast by a homebrew/hacker.
Now that is interesting to know. Bummer it was never in arcades. People would have went nuts back then. It looks amazing

The same for Force Five fighting game which plays like a cross between Tekken and VF.
Its assets were bought by a Korean company though and completely reworked into an arcade game called Jingu Storm.
I'm obsessed with the graphics in this game, it's like a cross between Project Justice and Megaman Legends with a nice coat of that '00s doujin fighter style and I fucking love it.
JMCrofts should probably make a tournament of this game. Looks obscure enough and frenetic for players.

Coming Soon was because the game never technically got a full release even though its basically almost finished. Theres a secret character & a boss in the games code you can play as or fight against with debug mode.

Don't trust that post Justin. Battle Rappers like to use metaphors, similes, and double/triple entendres. So he is only saying that phrase in hopes that you will get Daigo parried and thus publicly humiliated and shamed. He's basically saying "haha I know how you lost."

Kinda reminds me of a mixture between The Rumble Fish and Slap Happy Rhythm Busters. And odd mix, but that's what my mind immedeately went with. lol

This game was made by DreamFactory.
The same developers who made Tobal #1, Tobal 2, Ehrgeiz for the PS1, the Bouncer and Crimson Tears beat em up for PS2 and Kakuto Chojin for OG Xbox.
The creator of DreamFactory was Seichi Ishii who was the game designer for the first Virtua Fighter, and the director of the first two Tekken games.
Big influential figure in the 3d fg scene. The first two major 3d fg franchises, and one pioneer in 3d arena fg (Ehrgeiz)... and this unfinished game that experiments 2d style gameplay and stylish visuals that went against the major direction of early 3d fgs, that pursued realistic 3d visuals (within the technology possibilities of the time). I mean the dominant style with textures, faces, etc.
Nice. Looks like I found what to emulate next. Apparently someone did the conversion of this game for Sega Dreamcast.

This is my favorite Justin content, weird and super cool fighting games nobody knows about.
I heard of this, I've even looked it up. It mostly just makes me angry that it never got properly released, lol.
I mean, it's DIMPS - they know fighting games! You can't even get this as a reproduction disc for the Dreamcast nowadays despite pretty much all the other Atomiswave games being able to do that, like the OTHER fighting game from that leak two years ago or whatever, Force Five.
I don't even know what DIMPS is up to nowadays since they didn't develop Street Fighter VI for Capcom unlike the last two, and they're NOT developing any new Dragon Ball fighting games that we know of (Sparking is coming from Spike Chunsoft)... of course, if Max is right, they're working on Killer Instinct 4, but that's just rumor. All they've been doing lately is re-releasing the stupid Rumble Fish games in terrible modern ports. They SHOULD be focused on re-releasing _this_ onto current gen consoles with a proper release instead.
It seriously looks dope in that same kind of Fighting Layer, Street Fighter EX kinda way, and with its Mega Man Legends-style "painted on" pseudo cel-shading style, it still looks super good on modern displays today. Just needs a new HUD, some new modes, some explanations and training stuff - a coat of polish, that's all. Throw it on Xbox, Playstation and Steam for $15-20, maybe $25, fight fans would absolutely buy it

Interesting early experiment combining SF and GG mechanics using 3d models. And the art style is a nice idea for the time, when the 3d tech was still unable of expressing good cartoony visuals. It's building off from Megaman Legends, like many pointed out in the comments. That style started looking obsolete once the industry reached those ps2 games of Naruto, DBZ, etc... but it was a pretty good idea for its time anyway. (Just like the work on MML)

A kinda fighting game I really enjoyed was Naruto ultimate ninja 3 on the ps2 I really enjoyed that game it was a lot of fun but I don’t know if I count it as full fighting game it’s kinda like smash bros fighters of that time

This was actually discontinued, so they used the prototype, you can actually played the prototype of it, I can play that version, and it went amazing with that mechanics.

parry system seem little better than rumble fish very similar, becaues rumble fish 2 focus on parry timed and enough to counter so its more acccurate
