Good question. I'm still looking for an answer to that also. As far as technique goes, i'm sure there are many similarities and differences also between styles. It also depends on the teachers and what they know and can perform. kempo/kenpo is an interesting thing isn't it?

@@jackmoba611 I'm not sure. I've never seen his style performed but i do know we share similar roots, going back to Chow and Mitose. The Parker American Kenpo and Castro Shaolin Kenpo were both directly from Chow who was taught by Mitose, so Chow has heavy influences in that. Both Parker and Castro know similar techniques and its just how they are arranged. I would love to see mitoses style in action. Villari is about 5 or 6 down the line from Mitose- Chow-A.Emperado-Sonny Gascon-Geo Pesaro-Nick Cerio-Fred Villari... so each instructor probably changed things somewhat. They are all very strong martial artists. The route is shared between these styles; Here in the US back to Hawaii, and a combination from there of Chinese and Japanese. Seems all roads lead to Rome, we just travel from different directions.
