‘Disorderly conduct’: Parliament erupts as Labor MPs shout ‘why’ at Opposition

- Independent MP Allegra Spender issued a point of order on “disorderly conduct” after Labor MPs began shouting “why” in unison at the Opposition.
Mr Albanese questioned why the Opposition opposed proposals such as the Safeguard Mechanism, National Reconstruction Fund, and the Housing Australia Future Fund.
The Prime Minister's questions were followed by Labor MPs shouting “why”, directed towards the Opposition.
“I don’t think this is orderly conduct for the parliament,” Ms Spender said during a point of order.
What a joke. Do they answer anything! And we pay for this circus with our taxes!

What disrespectful behaviour by Labor, supposed to be running country for the betterment of the Australian people. Kindergarden children behave better that what was displayed by all Labor politicians. An total and prolific embarrassment, time they grew up.
Back in the 90s when i was teaching, most schools in Adelaide had a school council consisting of 2 adult moderators and 2 representatives from each classroom. We met on a weekly basis and discussed issues brought to the meetings and events and notices for the children to discuss back in the classroom. A model of government was learned. At the end of the year our local mp arranged for all the members of the school council to visit parliament house in Adelaide to watch how the state government functioned. What an embarrassing experience for me and the other teacher. As one of the children pointed out when we left 'why don't they listen to each other and respect each other's opinion like we do at school council?'
If the government is committed to providing cost of living relief, then why doesn't Chalmers stop the RBA from hiking up interest rates?
