Sea Turtle Hatchling Leaves the Nest

Thanks to two CMA Sea Guardians, we were able to help this hatchling out of it's nest and make it's way to the ocean! Watch as the hatchling takes on the long journey from nest to water!

OMG i was in flora over the summer for 2015 and i was in that hotel and i saw the eggs i can't believe it hatched

This is so cute!!
I thought that turtles hatch and lay at night, why did this one hatch during the day? Do you know?
Also since it was the daytime, did it just go towards the sun rather than the moon?

They do that because it's colder at night and the sea turtle mom won't dry out from the sun🐢☀️
