I lived in London in the 90's and there is nothing like fireworks on the river. They are so lovely there. Watching this makes miss London so much. Happy New Year to everyone.
An amazing fireworks display! The use of the Eye was genius. Even without music, it was a well designed fireworks show and words can't even describe that finale. One of the best and longest I've seen. I just visited London this summer, and I loved the city. I just wish I can be in London on New Year's Eve to see these fireworks. With Big Ben chiming and right on the Thames, it must have been quite a sight to be there. Man, I really wish I had been there.

Sydney 2000 was one of the best new year firework celebrations i have ever seen, yet I think our displays are much nicer, and artistic, and downright better (although this one was one of our worst)London 2000 was my favourite personnally - SO bright the sky went blue, literally!
I was separated from my friends! They were at Trafalgar square and I was all the way at Blackfirars Bridge. Still got a great view though. Great atmosphere - best fireworks display so far.

teh last ten seconds of syndeys fireworks this year was the best bit of the whole night where they made the fireworks look like a waterfall it was good but i like this equally as much
