  • This is a fast video tutorial showing how to wrap a cabochon with macrame. The cord we use for our work is 1,1 mm waxed cord. There are different thickness cords that you can use. The smaller the thickness the more detailed is the knotting. This kind of cord can be secured by burning and doesn't require glue. The length of the cord used vary according to the thickness and size of the cabochon. For this reason it's difficult for us to give exact measures. After some time you will get used on knowing how much cord you need for your project.
I know I know....When we wrote Diameter it was meant for Perimeter....So sorry for that!

I have literally never done macrame before today. This tutorial was so perfect I signed in FROM Pinterest to make this comment. As long as you take it slow, look over your work, and dedicate 2-5 hours for your first try- this tutorial teaches you this in the easiest way I could possibly imagine. Thank you, liked, subscribed- you’re literally amazing.

Is there a way to determine the needed length on the weaving cord?

Great idea to use the two colored cords but why is this in fast motion? It's harder to follow with weird unnatural movement.
