I have Lowa Mountaineering boots. They are really good if you have wider feet. You can look at Mammut Mountaineering boots. They are great but more expensive.
Hello there, good morning. I’m getting ready for my climb in June for Rainier, my Question is, how much training did u do & how did u manage all da weigh u had to carry, that’s what I’m worried about & I’m stressing over it. HELP! ….
Do at least 4 camp Muirs before the actual climb. I normally go hiking 2ice a week. A lot of them are solo fast hikes that get my heartbeat up to over 180bpm. Do Mt. Adams a week to 10 days before Rainier and you should be good.
Happy Holidays! I wish you good conditions on St. Helens.
Thanks!
