This show is sad tbh not in a bad way but I mean I felt sad for this guy
His voice actor is top tier, the way he pulled that squeamish "i love you" felt so honest, can't believe he only had 2 roles
Edit: I was wrong, he does have more than 2 roles, but not a lot more
Srsly tho, man deserves more recognition he killin it in this role
I feel like he can go toe to toe with Subaru's voice actor from Re Zero

No matter how many times you try to change the future, destiny cannot be changed and still arrives.

That's a misconception honestly. For example: Someone was to go back in time and alter history in a very specified way, literally planning each individual detail to ensure a given thing did or didn't happen and had absolute assurance in the act. This would make sure a certain outcome would happen. The notion that because someone died in one timeline means they couldn't escape death in an altered one is true but that doesn't mean they have to die early in life necessarily, they still die later in life. Who's to say they won't have a wonderful life period before dying of old age?

I think it's kinda similar to Stiens Gate in a sense, since in SG no matter how many times the main character tried to save someone history always found a way to repeat itself.
I think there is one thing Takemitchy needs to really change in the past in order to save Hina and Akkun, because if he doesn't Hina and Akkun will die no matter what.
That’s not how it works. Think about it. You go back to the past, that past becomes your future and your former present becomes the past, which can’t now be changed by your new future.
To be clear, I’m not saying you’re wrong. This is just a movie reference joke that goes with my first reply
if Takemichy doesnt go through a full on character development arc after seeing Hina die on his eyes this time, then I dont know if he ever will have one

This whole scene I was just going "NOOOOOOOOO WHY THEY DO MY BOI LIKE THIS FFS" felt horrible at first but seeing his determination being reborn just got me all like "Remember, No Kisaki"
This show heavenly gives me Re:zero vibes and i love it, definitely my favorite from this season

This was all very sad, but I think everyone was operating on about 3 brain cells. The moment Takemichi saw Hanma and figured out what he meant, he has a cellphone. Maybe call Hina and tell her to not get in the car. Hina sees a car coming at her, and stares at it while it takes about 2 minutes to come towards her. And Akkun is...well, Akkun.
Still, that moment Hina turns and pushes Takemichi when half her body is gone was pretty cool.
Well this is kinda late and all but at the time when season 1 ended, you realize that in all of the timelines where kesaki is part of toman Hinata will die because his being alive and part of toman will cause hinatas death to be fated one way or another. If she somehow got out of the car, kesaki def would have found another way to finish her off at some point
NGL I started tearing up at this part the fact that he lost his best friend and gf must hurt
