You see the fast progression of engine and airframe designs in these early WW2 years, a really good design left on it's own becomes redundant after 2-3 years.

Marcel Bloch had to change his name, because Germans wanted to shot him...enters to the scene...Marcel Dassault
The story is a little bit different. Marcel Bloch was arrested by french Petain regime then German send him to extermination camp. He eventually survive but his brother who joins french Résistance didn't. His brothers alias name was Dassault. Marcel was authorised by French government post war to change his name from Bloch to Dassault to honore his brothers memory.
Regarding the plane Bloch 152 his major flaw was the engine as for all French planes at that time :underpowered, low production rate, lack of special alloy, all accessories radio, variable pitch propeller, belt feeded guns. The last produced variant Bloch 155 could have been a tough opponent for German planes:two 20mm canons and four 7,5 mm machine gun and good armor protection. Only a dozen was delivered when France collapses in June. Another "what if".

En 1940, les avions français étaient dépassés : vitesse et moteur insuffisant, idem pour l'armement.
Les bombardiers étaient trop
anciens,hormis le Let O 451.
