- In front of his home audience at Le Mans, Quartararo had one of his best weekends on the poor Yamaha package in 2024, qualifying eighth and challenging for a spot in the top eight of the Grand Prix.
The 2021 world champion was satisfied with his performance on the M1 last Sunday even if he fell out at Turn 9 on lap 17 of 27 while he was running sixth.

The best riders should be on the best bikes. The GP has great racing but does not really determine the greatest riders. What a shame or should I say sham.
It’s that way in all forms of racing. Unless you put everyone on the same bike. Then you have something different. IROC comes to mind.

Damn where those bikes went. I remember when the main class did times at Mugello close to 2 minutes. Like 1.55 to 57. And now already i don't get why Japanese powerhouses take so long to rebound.
I feel like the only teams losing seem to be Japanese who will not cheat just saying this could be the reason
