This little tree can double up as a pin cushion, and why not add a bit of bling for Christmas! Try making a few in different sized to create a stunning display.

Materials:
24" x 9" [61cm x 23cm] non-directional printed fabric
Toy filler
small plant pot/bucket [I spray painted mine red]
Hot glue gun
any embellishments you like!
Lovely tree. So nice of you to share your talent. Thank you.
LOVE 💕 LOVE 💕 Absolutely Brilliant...The straight lines are So much prettier ....than those old fashioned stuffed trees with all the points
I love your toturial of this lovely Christmas tree🙏❤️
Well done & many thanks for this. Waving to you from Michigan
I just tried this and found a chopstick works wonders getting the stuffing into the tip. Thanks for a wonderfully cute project!
This is so adorable!! Will make a love Christmas table decoration, I think. Thanks, Debbie
So glad I found this! Now I know what to make with my leftover Christmas scraps. Thank you!
Perfect for leftover fabrics. So cute. Thanks for the idea and the how to.

Oh my Debbie, that is just too precious and genius! Thank you so very much for the detailed tutorial.
This is a lovely idea Debbie, I’ll be making a few of these! Thank you. 🙂
Beautiful and appreciate the oldies! TFS x
So cute! I'll make this as a Christmas gift for my best friend but with a sewing theme! Thank you Debbie!
This is adorable! I think I might make 3 sizes for a tiny forest effect!!! 🌲🎄🌲
I think I'm going to make mine in glitter fabric thank you Debbie
Love this idea!
Thank you so much for sharing this Debbie. Great explanation of what to use and how to make it. I can definitely see myself making one (hopefully more) once I have recovered from my recent total hip replacement surgery. I am excited about this as it will be a Christmas tree I can be excited about making and using. Take care xxx
Love this little tree. Thank you Debbie for the start of many (I hope) Xmas makes.
I may make them in four seasons, pick out different fabrics for Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
What a fabulous idea x
I think this will look beautiful. Brilliant idea I might have a go myself x

@@maxinelawson7329 I like that. I was thinking of just gluing some felt to bottom instead of pot . . . just to keep from knocking over each time is stick a pin. Hmm
What a Sweet idea, Brilliant...Thank you.....off to my stash!
I was intrigued to see how you’d make a tree out of three triangles. Very clever.
Very pretty tree! Thanks for sharing!
What a lovely idea Debbie🥰
I love this and will make them as gifts ! Also, I’d like to make a pressing pad like yours. Do you have a tutorial for it ? Or is it purchased ? Thanks for your generous it’s.
How adorable, and you can increase the size to make bigger if you would like. Great Christmas pin cushion for anyone that sews.
Very cool 😎 I love it 🥰
So lovely !!
Very lovely. thank you for sharing.
Thanks Debbie so cute
Lovely
Really cute project. Thanks for giving us the stitch length
That is so awesome! I want to sew so badly and make them in different sizes. Sadly I have to wait 7-9 more weeks. Had foot surgery 10 days ago and cannot put any weight on my foot. Using a walker and walking on the heel of the foot is the pits! Miss my sewing room.
Hope you're better and back to sewing soon!
Adorable 😊❤
Ótima ideia! Ficou muito fofa!!!
Very beautiful
Adorable. I rescued an American Bulldog. I dont know her past, but she must of been taken away from Mom too early. She likes to nurse on ALL my pillow corners. Many times she tears my pillows apart. I have garbage bags full of freshly washed filling for other projects. Good project to use filling up. She is a great dog otherwise!
So lovely to hear she's found a good home...
Can I use a long knitting needle to stuff the tips of this tree?
Hi Debbie, Doesn't that little black knob on your presser foot allow you to increase the pressure for sewing thick areas?
That's to stabilise the foot if sewing over thick seams... there is a presser foot pressure dial on some machines that may help...
Linda! Amei!💐
i used chilies sticks to stuff the tree good idea to make a small.forest so I will do that I had forgotten them
Thanks very much
I have some fat quarters that would be perfect for this! I know it's only March, but I'm already planning out my Christmas sewing 😂
Would look good without the bucket with many lined up on mantle or windowsill or table.
Cute ☺️
I love you pressing mat / cutting mat combo. Is there a video?
That was from my website, debbieshoresewing.com
Thank you. You are one of my favorites. Watching you is part of my morning routine
Debbie, is it just me or is calculation not correct . 🤔
6" across x 6 pieces = 36" = 91.5cm.
Just noticed it as I planned a trip to the shop for some fabric 😉
As the fabric is non directional some of the triangles can be upside down to save fabric…
@@debbieshore Thanks, Debbie. It makes sense, my brain left me 😉
