Damn, this setup was a struggle! :D At least it turned out kinda pretty, so it was worth the effort :) I hope you enjoy this video and I wish you a nice December and a wonderful Christmas time :) Stay safe!

Ahhh!! I loved this!! I was going back and forth between doing a snow theme or Christmas theme for December but I chose to do Christmas for December and snow for January!! I will definitely use this as inspiration!!!

Einfach nur wunderschön! Deine handletterings sind echt der Wahnsinn! Die Idee mit dem durchscheinenden Papier war auch super. Und das mit der Monatsübersicht, ich mache das mittlerweile sogar absichtlich, dass ich die Woche noch mal voll mache und somit noch die Tage des letzten Monats und die Tage des neuen Monats mit drin habe.

This was really lovely and it was new to me the way you drew the snowflakes 😮 i mean, the whole shape instead of just doing the lines, so I really loved that! Besides the palette was so pretty as well!! Ahhhh I really want to do this it’s just I don’t have many of the materials. On a side note; My handwriting looks best when I use quite thick pens like fine liners but I am looking for a good reliable pen that is quite thick, any suggestions?
I'm happy you enjoyed it :) No worries, try to work with what you have, I'm sure this theme totally works without vellum paper or washi tapes as well! Maybe check out Amanda's dec 2017 video which I linked in the infobox :) If you're looking for a pen you could use for outlines, I'd recommend the Sakura Pigma Micron PN or the Sakura Pigma Microns in general! They are also good for writing. I also love to use the tombow fudenosuke brushpens for outlines (I used it for this setup too) :) I hope that helped you
Do you hand draw it first in pencil and then trace with black ink or do you trace everything on there?

Your bullet journal art is very beautiful. I just bought a bullet journal and even with a minimalist approach I feel that it is way too time consuming and tedious when I could just buy a planner and a journal. Genuinely asking, what is the appeal to bullet journaling vs a planner & regular journal?

I love that I can create spreads a normal planner doesn't have, like gratitude logs, expense trackers, mood- and habit trackers or whatever comes to my mind. Also a bullet journal doesn't have to be artistic, but I love art and it became a hobby for me to make my journal pages look pretty :) Did you check out the original bullet journal method by Ryder Carrol yet? It's actually only ment to be functional :D But anyway, I don't want to convince you to use a bullet journal if a finished planner works well for you
@@ArtnFoxes thank you for your insightful reply:-) I do like making habit trackers in my bullet. Especially after reading "Atomic Habits". I actually haven't read the book you mentioned. I just decided to buy one on a whim after Rowena Tsai recommended here. Life has become... disorganized this year so, I thought a bullet journal would provide more structure and organization to my schedule as well as keeping track of my days, habits and thoughts.

I was just wondering if the journals have thick paper? I like to paint on my journals for spreads
They have 160 gsm paper which is actually pretty thick for a journal, but I didn't use paint in it yet so I don't know how how well it works. In my journal there's no ghosting or bleeding at all, but I only use markers in it
