The Seattle Center also has the Mural Amphitheater, between the Needle and the Coliseum (Climate Pledge). A lot of the younger bands played there in the summer before grunge became huge. I saw a guy throw a dead raccoon at TAD there.
I saw Oasis at the Mercer arena and the Grateful Dead, Mudhoney, and the Sex Pistols at the Memorial Stadium. Both of those are on the same property as the Space Needle.

Easy Street is the best record store in the city and deserves the love, but Sonic Boom in Ballard is also great and worth mentioning.

I own the J& M coffee. I’ll get it open anytime, over 62 rooms and a 7 thousands square feet nightclub too plus the best bakery where the pool’s table are…. See you soon at the JM

Man, this is amazing. What a video. I am from Brazil and one of my main goals is to visit Seattle and visit these spots. I believe someday I will achieve that and this video will help me to visit lots of places.

I'd give anything to be at that Alice in Chains live at the moore concert. If you were there, I'm totally envious of you. Excellent video 👏

I was in the pit for the Nirvana show Oct 31, 1991 at the Paramount. this was like moments before they became huge, they were still just our favorite local band and to us it was HUGE they got to play the Paramount so we were totally stoked about that.

I would suggest, "A sound Garden" on the NOAA campus and next to the Warren G. Magnuson Park. It's a unique sound sculpture featuring 12 21ft towers with organ pipes welded at the top, when the wind blows they make a sound.
It inspired the band name of Soundgarden and also serves as a memorial to Chris Cornell. You might notice Soundgarden's logo shows 12 towers circling a triangle. Public access is monitored and restricted but can be seen from the neighboring Dog park. A very peaceful place near the shores of Lake Washington.

I really enjoyed this. I actually learned a lot, which was shocking considering I grew up and live near many of these places. Shoreline is so one to me and I had no clue that those two super famous studios were right there! Production quality was awesome. The 3D map navigation of Seattle was so cool! Great work!

Very, very, cool Josh. I need to pay respects to my #1 #1, Jimi Hendrix when I'm there and I'd love to catch a show at the Paramount. The Gorge has been on my list since DMB released a DVD from there. AMAZING! Very cool video! Can't wait to check out Seattle.

I used to live on 4th and Virginia, and though the Grunge era was long gone, it was exciting to be near so much history in walking distance, and meeting so many people who knew some of the insiders.
I used to take the 40 to work from Belltown, and got off at Recipricol. If you didn't know better, you'd never think there was anything special about it; just a strange looking building. It kinda reminds me of those wedges from Trivial Pursuit.
Sorry, but to me, I can't call them anything but Key Arena and E.M.P. 😅
This was a fantastic video! Loved every minute!
If you do another (if you haven't already), I hope you'll include the O.K. Hotel.

They didn't tear down the entire thing. Some of it is still there. The Central is still going strong. The Gorge is a must!

Tad released a new album and threw an invite only party at the Crocodile Cafe. Gruntruck played and me and my friends got invites because we were kind of in the music scene. We were smoking weed in the venue up front watching Gruntruck and passing the pipe around to everyone. But then one of the bouncers grabbed us by the shirt collar and said, "you guys can't do that in here". And escorted us outside. There was a huge line of people trying to get in around the block but they weren't letting them in because you had to have an invitation. So me and my buddy proceeded to finish our bowl right in front of everyone in line, and even shared. Then we just walked back in and the people watching us were like, "hey, how come those dudes got in?" We just kept on going and got away with stuff like that all the time back then

After a Laser Light show at the Seattle Center about midnight, me and friends bumped in to some other dudes who were hanging out by the International Fountain. And we thought it would be cool to climb to the top of it, so we did and smoke some nice Seattle bud on that Fountain. LOL this happened in the summer of 1991

I was at the 20th anniversary of his death at the cemetary in Renton. This was when Jimi's grave was just a small headstone. there were a lot of people. His brother Leon was there, that was cool. I also met Jimi's dad, Al at the club Rockandy during a Jimi Hendrix theme night in 1991

Hey there- you failed to mention Ironwood Studios at 601 NW 80th. Since the founder retired and sold the studio, it's now Avast Studios, but the history of that studio goes back to the 70s...I literally met Mad Season there....Just sayin'
